I know that there are a lot of Exhaust companies that make items for the Diablo, including Eienhaus, Larini, TubiStyle and a few others, and they all claim that there exhausts are about 80lbs lighter than the stock unit on the 6.0. Now, to me, that seems an aweful lot of weight. Can anyone confirm that this is correct? Likewise, Eisenhaus charge around $20,000 for a full exhaust and manifold system handbuilt in highgrade steel. However, for this price couldn't you get something made in Titanium, or even carbon fibre? This would weigh even less.
The reason for my thoughts is just that I am trying to see, in theory, how much weight can be saved from a Diablo 6.0 without sacrificing anything such as comfort or practicalities. A carbon prop-shaft would be high on my list too, as would the removal of the rear bumper housing, the same as on a GTR. Anyone know what these standard items weigh?
