Thats cus thats the RPM he's launching at!!!! Surely you can hear that its revving that high!

If you look closely at the tach you can see that indeed the large type font does start at 6000 rpm; however, you can clearly see that beneath 6000 there are marks for 5 4 3 2 1 thousand and 0 rpm.
