Haha, in my 1st year, yip thats how i ate, hence finished the 1st year of uni as a 17 stone 5'8" bag of lard.
Now i realise that my heart is gunna be kinda usefull in me living, i now cook nice meals which are a LOT healthier, and i aint talking shitty health food that tastes of cardboard, just good home cooking. (it helps that i now live in a house i spose).
That coupled with a daily 15 min cycle ride to uni, and 15 mins back means now im a less flabby 13 stone. :)
Although i gotta admit, the rest aint goin anywhere as i still have a soft spot for me alcohol!!

Well, usually I always had (and still have) good meals with meat and vegetables. Lots of different pasta and rice dishes. Easy and quick to cook, and nice to eat.
BTW, with 'rice dish' I don't mean something like this...

Of course I had my off-days as well, when recouperating from a long long night of drinking. The dinner the next day usually wasn't very fancy. And once a week I order in some food, like a pizza or chinese.

eating wonderfully, thank god. dining halls are actually really well stocked, and they serve great food - it's often the most looked-forward to part of my day.

well, i refused to pay $1500 for the school provided meal plan my freshmen year.. so i bought all my own food, which on occassion looked like that... but since i lived only down the hall from the student kitchen, it waas usually more like beacon+eggs, omlets, spaghetti, salads... mostly good stuff :-D

also, my freshemen year, i was doing the hard liquors... Bacardi One-Fifty-Fun, Superior (i only did once, since it gave me a nasty hangover after drinking about 15 shots in a night) Captain Morgans, Jameson, Jack Daniels, and a few times for Jim Beam... and a bit of beer. when it was free, it was good... and when i could get it it was good.

these days, im old enough to get my own... but i may do 1 shot in a months time... and since i love the taste of beer, i drink the 'good stuff' i average about 1 beer per night... last night, i finished my 12 pack of paulaner hefe-weizen after about 2 weeks.

I'm pretty much limited to fast food here. Dining halls are too far away, plus I pay for food with my school card, so my choices are extremely limited. Subway, Pita Pit, Wendys, McDonalds, Rallys... yup that's bout it. We have food brought in for dinner every night though, so that's some decent healthy food.

@Nthfinity: beacon and eggs sounds en'light'ening!

Badum-tish

Hehe as for the spirits, I was never a big drinker and redecorated a few pubs in my own special way from time to time

I dont eat dinner, I barely eat lunch. Somedays, I dont eat anything. Reason... american food makes you FAT!

When I eat lunch, I only eat lettuce and 1 or 2 chicken breast (grilled). Everything else has WAY TOO much fat and carbs etc etc. I end up saving a lot too! What I often do is go to lunch eat the regular (salad + chicken breast) and steal 7 fruits for next day. I eat 2 days out of 1 payment and use the rest of the money for powerdrinks at gim.

my meals in college consisted of Ramen w/Hormel chili and sliced up pepperchinis. i was too broke to afford booze until i moved in with some friends who introduced me to Jack Daniels.

One night though, Jack had some Southern Comfort with him...end result: i am banned from the Subway on 19thAve and Dunlop in Phoenix becuase of the subsequent hangover (my first :P )

once my best friend moved in with me and was making better money i was able to get pizza and McDonalds :D being on my feet all day, i was able to work it off
