is it already known that when posting img's the picture file must have a lowercase extension? Not sure if its with all types of images, but I just tried posting a file.JPG and it came up as a red x. I renamed it to .jpg and it worked...
just came across it and wondered if anyone else noticed..
its nothing to do with the forum, as its works fine for me with .JPG extension >>

If the image is hosted on a unix/linux box then you must make sure the case matches exactly what the file is. if its filenamed .JPG then you have to use that in the url. If its lower .jpg or .jpeg or .JPEG then you must use that. This is because linux/unix sees image.jpg and image.JPG as being two different files where as lame winblows 9 times otu of 10 will consiter them the same.

i was posting an image file, BLAH.JPG, hosted on a unix server.. did not show up.. possibly a typo.. i went into the unix server and renamed it to BLAH.jpg, reposted it and it worked.. i am fully aware of unix/linux's case sensitive filesystem.. im thinkin i was just high and made a typo..
sorry!
