it definately is a great and a beatuful car btu one thing i dont understand is why it has sucha low top speed(155 MPH :( ) and a what i would call a some what slow 0-60 time(4.1 seconds :() for such a power monster i mean IMO mercedes should really try and focus much more speed into the mix for cars such as this one, nice clip either way thank you

It's governed at 155mph and traction isn't easy with 800lbs./ft torque to get good 0-60's. Do you realize how heavy the thing is, and amg is always thinking about straight line speed(hence the torque).

yes you do have a point, BUT wouldn't you think that that with the level of engineering that Mercedes and AMG have, you could make those improvements in regards toward traction, top speed and also, y the hell govern such a car to 155MPH????? thats just what i dont get, to make long words short, Mercedes made a monster but its been noodered...

I dont think even Mercedes has the engineering capability to harness 800lbs of torque! Only a fully-drag-only race suspension with some track-only slicks would be able to put that power down properly, but then it would ruin the whole point of the car, because it would completely ruin the ride and handling. I think the car is awesome! it would be the ultimate highway cruiser, thats for sure.

880 ft/lbs? That's incredible. I can't imagine the shove you'd get if you dropped a gear on the highway and floored it. It would be awesome to see how it performed on a drag strip with some slicks

anyways... why is this thing so damm heavy???? i justs still dont agree on governing the top speed on a car like this...

For some reason BMW, audi and merc agreed to govern their top speeds to 155mph. It was a mutual agreement between companies, probably to ensure customer safety!

Haha...you wish...it didn't have anything to do with customer safety, it was to keep the government from coming in and doing it for them. They'd much rather set rules amongst themselves than have someone else tell them what they should do.
anyways... y is this thing so damm heavy???? i justs still dont agree on overning the top speed a something like this...
And its so damn heavy (4560lb) because its a Mercedes, what do you expect, they are not exactly focused on making a sports-car, they don't care two shits about how much it weighs, if its too heavy they just give it more power.

either way wherther you God forbid hit something at 155MPH or whatever greater speed(155+MPH) you might be moving its not gonna feel very good or you will even be alive...

155 is fast enough for me since there isn't many places to exceed it, and it's just a chip modification that can easily be corrected you don't like it. When you go 155 in car on public roads then you say it's not fast enough, but until you get a car i wouldn't talk bout top speeds. And video was alright.

OMFG i didn´t know that there are already tuned versions out yet  Imagine if Brabus modifies the engine... 800hp, 1000 ft/lbs  But i don´t think they will modify it as they already have an engine that is even slightly stronger than the 65 one.

yes you are right. BUT IMO you are killing the escense of the car being the kind of car it is by doing that(the governing)...

1194Nm.... now that's a lot in a merc

^Yup. That's a whole lot of hp and torque inthis car. lot more than the stock. normally, the 65AMG engine is limited to the 1000NM as to save the driveshaft, gearbox etc.
i guess this one got derestricted.
