SpeedTV Utter Crap!

SpeedTV is horrible. I used to love the off season because they would show FIA GT, ETCC, and other proper races. NOw its horrible. And all those speedTV funded shows are horrible aswel. RicerVision and such.....

Actually Speed TV only shows that nascar shit 24/7. So yeah it has been sucking ass sicne like maybe a few years ago. I hate it now just hate it I dont even bother to watch it even if there is Le Mans or any F1 races on I try and looking on the internet for downloads and race results. It sucks so badly becuase of nascar that it is not even funny. Seriously it sucks balls! So :fist: 0X @ SpeedTV no one here. :mrgreen:

unfortunately Speed is the only station that broadcasts the F1 races :( thats all i watch it for. i don't even have cable. i have to go down to the weight room in my complex to watch :(

SpeedTV is junk...I don't even watch except for the F1 races, it just pisses me off that they devote so much of their time to god damn NASCAR. I mean, I don't care if they carry a few important races, but it seems like 90% of their time is NASCAR...leaving almost no time for all the other motorsports out there...that is insulting. Screw Fox! :x

Hm, yeah, it does suck and it spends too much time on drag and nascar.... but it's better than nothing (ie: basic network.)

actually they have been showing ETCC, BTCC, DTM, and australian V8, but at 9 in the morning.

BTW SpeedTV sucks from the moment Fox bought Speedvision.

SpeedTV is just following the money and at the moment the money is in NASCAR. But, they still have some awesome programming on scattered in between the crap and stuffed into the lineup in the wee hours of the night.

my favourite and only interesting about speed tv is the fricking barrett-jackson auction. but even that gets boring after a while. I would love to punch out Brock Yates and Alan De Cadenet.

As if watching montecarlos and dodge somethings go around an oval track wasn't bad enough, the new car test drives suck. They never say anything bad about a car, they just say it's interesting and will have to wait to see how it goes. They are endorsement whorrs, they take the money and make a show for the sponsors.
I'm lucky though because I get mexican programming and watch the F1 races at night and don't have to deal with redneck nascar crap. Besides, who gives a damn about restrictor plate tracks?

think if we put together a collection we could buy out SPEED from fox and therefore save it by banning all NASCAR? we would need to talk to the FIA to get the SPEED cameras in there instead of relaying the iTV feeds that seem to black out 3 times a race.

Maybe we could bombard their servers with pissed off emails and all call into dave despain's radio show.

Yeah, they are seriously lacking some good shows. I watch it for American Muscle Car, thats a great show. But they seem to have run out of muscle cars. lol They had a hot-rod show on there too that was good, Is hot rod TV on spike or speed? anyway. Spike's powerblock is where its at. Too bad i dont get that channel. lol

Spike had some mildly interesting stuff, but not all that quality when i think about it. Dling low rez top gear and 5th gear still trump both imo.

I agree that Speedvision was much better a couple of years ago. For many of us in the USA, it's the only channel dedicated to motorsports, so to says it sucks and just bash it for showing what's profitable (NASCAR) isn't right. Without what is now SpeedTV we many of us would not being able to watch anything.

There's still plenty of reasons to watch SpeedTV, WRC, F1, occasional special programs such as behind F1 and Porsche series. Although it has been better and I wish they didn't show nearly as much NASCAR as they do, I'm glad to have it.

Yeah, I wish we got something better than the 24 hour nascar channel. Even when they do cover something thats not mind numbingly boring, like on the power block, the shows still seem to me like they are talking to children. They are made to appeal to the stupid average american.

I mean really, if you look at how much more entertaining shows from england and japan are, its not hard to figure out that american car shows assume that no one understand anything about cars to begin with, so they never risk getting to technical or interesting because of it.
