Clutch? Hehe - by that stage the clutch is fully released... :D

That's rubber smoke there bud... ;) -- look at the ever so faint layer of rubber being painted on the street - just enough tyre slip to get moving and hold it at 6500rpm... but not too much so as to waste time spinning the wheels.. :P

Yep - it's kinda hard to believe one can have so much fun going to and from work.. ;)

And lets not forget the old plastic whale turned 53,000 miles old in style... :D

God that is fast.. Nice work RC. We don't really have corvette's here unless they are imported (damn it!), is the Z06 a race version of a normal corvette? Surely they don't all do 4.0 haha   :)

6500rpm nice, you're tyres must be fucking expensive to hold the road at that rev with that much power,
bit i guess most of you're tyre is now stuck to the road of various intersections around america, lol!

dumping it at that rev i would of expected it to keep spinning and maybee grip after laying half you're tyre on the road, lol

I think he's actually an Englishman beaver, judging by his profile.

He's actually Zafrican. But that's not really relevant. And I really doubt he dropped the clutch at 6500 rpm because with anything other than drag slicks he would've had mad wheelspin.

I'm curios if you ever actually recorded your 0-60. If you did, was it a 4.0, or a 4+? Still, anything in the 4 s. range is fucking fast.

i remember when i asked for a video of the speedo of RC's vette, and he hammered that through 1st,2nd and 3d,but that was not launching for the best 0-60 time as it was spinning all the time, but if u have a vid RC of an attempt of gettin 4 seconds 0-60 please post it :D

so where are these old videos then rc?

RC45

Yeah - well it was 1 crocodile - 2 crocodile - 3 crocodile - 4 crocodile.. ;)

It's a low 4.xs number - 4.0 is nigh possible but would take aligning of the planets, earth quakes, giant tidal waves and near end-times events to achieve...

As Bad says - dumping at 6500 would simply boil the tyres - look cool, but get nowhere in a hurry... I launch at 4,000ish - feather in the thottle to redline and go...

I will try dig up a video with a rather close 4.x 0-60... :P

Here ya go...
