Here we have the F50 bought for me by JW members, A signed limited (250) Enzo by Jay Kay and a R/C Enzo.
Thanks again to everyone that got me the F50...it is simply LOVELY...very heavy and HIGHLY DETAILED SUPERB QUALITY.

Nice ... I thought Jay Kay had a black Enzo with a green interior though. Maybe he got it changed then...
How quick is the RC Enzo
Congratulations again Jabba, and Merry Christmas 8)
The F50 looks amazing, but how long did it take to build?
I love the RC Enzo too.... i bet you're going to take it for a spin around the office carpet, lol
The Jay Kay Enzo is the final touch, but, being a bit picky really, his Enzo has green seats... would have been a better model if they had included that detail for the jay-Kay signed versions :P

Not sure about the Enzo....the battery is on charge right now...and I am yet to test it...I do not know much about R/C models so I shall take a picture of the details that were on the box....

the F50 looks cool Jabba, your Enzo R/C is just like mine, i have a Subaru impreza rally shell though - the actual chassis is identical though - it is bloody quick, even if it is only electric. Ive rammed mine into the kerb many a time and it hasnt even scratched - they are built like a brick shit house, so dont be afraid to send it screaming across the lounge floor! :P

i love that F50 was planning on gettin the exact same one, I will later in the year. One thing i dont understand is its soooo higly detailed but then it has the white writing on the tires and the yellow Ferrari thing in the centre of the wheel that The F50 never had.

The F50 looks great! I really want one for myself! LOL
The JayK Enzo is pretty damn sweet as well, who cares if it doesn't have green seats, it's autographed by the man himself! LOL
The RC is pretty sweet too. Be carefull with it, Nikko is considered non-hobby grade, so if you break it, you'll most likely have to send it in to be fixed. They do sometimes send you the part to do it yourself though.
I can't see the box clear enough, but the motor power will be represented by numbers or size. If it's numbers, it'll be something like 19x3. A stock motor will be 20x3 or so. I forget what exactly. The lower the first number and the higher the second number, the faster it goes. It also decreases battery life.
Otherwise, it'll say stock 540 size motor, or stock 380 size motor. Judging by the size of the car, it'll most likely be a 540 size, which is the standard. Just a guess, but it'll go between 25-30MPH.
All in all, many excellent gifts! I hope you had a good Christmas Jabba!

I was hoping you would assemble the F50 over Christmas.... It looks very very good! :D Glad you like it too!
One thing i dont understand is its soooo higly detailed but then it has the white writing on the tires and the yellow Ferrari thing in the centre of the wheel that The F50 never had.
You are right about the writing on the tyres, but the central wheel hub is present on some F50's and Enzos, but not all of them... it confuses me too

well i think its present on every single Enzo but on no F50's. Instead of the yellow cap thing, the F50's metal on the centre of the wheel was just tinted a slight gold and had the Horse engraved in. Its a peice of art itself especially when you see it in person. I never knew the horse was engraved till I saw it in person at the Gelleria Ferrari (official Ferrari Museum in Maranello) and it jus looked like such a peice of art.

That F50 does look SUPERB! IMO it looks a little bit out of proportion with the roof on, and the rear wing looks slightly larger than on the actual car. But im being anal, it down look SWEET!
:D

12-30-2004, 07:29 PM
well maybe the rear wing is supposed to be like that, when i saw it in person the rear wing looked larger and had even more of a swooping effect look then in the pics. It looks even better, it was a jaw dropping site.

excellent gifts for the big guy!
you reallly had a red & black xmas
it's good you liked very much the f50, which looks astonishing (i didn't think it was going to have that kind of detail)
the enzo, looks great, but I figure that the JK signature has more value than the model
and the RC enzo, another awsome article you have in there. Maybe you'll start to collect more rc cars to race them
