So i'm finding something a bit strange with my iPod 4G, an d would like to ask you if you have the same problems on yours..
I'm finding that the battery life on my 4G is lasting very little, and i'm finding it strange since i charged it for 24 hrs befor using it!!

Ermmm.... Contrast/EQ/Backlight settings need to be tailored to get performance out of the battery... this is most likely the problem that you have described

My 3G lasts about 6hrs... enough for a day at school then dock it overnight 8)

Hmm, has it always been 6 hrs, or have you gotten more??
I could get mine playing for about 8-10 hrs, i would gues..but i still think it's little!!
Maybe i'm just delirious about IPod's capability...

Apple claim 8hrs for the 3G and 12hrs for the 4G.... ambitious claims IMO.... minus two from each to get a more accurate figure

I'm suprised you didn't know what a pain the battery was :?

Take it back to Apple store and they'll either give you a new one or at the very least change out a new battery for you.

It has happen before, you are not the first one.

I have another question in relation to iPod, and since I already opened this thread..i might as well ask here:

Does anyone here have the iTrip accessory, or something similar?? I was wondering if I asked my dad to buy it for me, since hes going to NY, and i don't feel too confident about it...if you do have it, what did you think?? Please help a desperate Brazilian!!

The iTrip works alright. You could tune it to a specific FM channel. But you got to find one that no one is using. Other wise you'll get a lot of interference.

All in all, it is pretty cool.

to get those type of times you ahve to make sure you turn the clicker off as well as the backlight and only use that when it is necessary. The less you touch it and just let it play the longer it will last, so i suggest making play lists on your PC. Also the louder you have the volume the faster the battery will run out. So you have to be just carefull which sucks.

yeah the battery life is annoying, but regarding your question about the iTrip..I have that and I love it..it works great 99% of the time, occasionaly the reception is bad.

I'm really waiting on the new apple/motorola cell phone to come out, that thing is going to kick ass

ipods are notorious for having poor battery life.

You know that they Apple helped out with the design of the Motorola V70.
