This is a perfect example of lame police work. Checking the criminal for weapons is a must and a standard procedure.

GROSS?? this vid is far from GROSS, if you find that GROSS then i take it no one ever watches scary movies. guy shoots him self in the head, and there is a little bit of visible blood. big fucking wow, grow some fucking balls.

of course, i've seen those Faces of Death films, so this isn't anything worse than those....

quite surprising that they didn't pat him down before putting him in the room, though, thats a pretty poor job of that police department. i wonder wtf that guy even did that he felt he needed to kill himself instead of going to jail?

well, the first thing that came to my mind was: this guy has a gun, and these dumb ass cops got so lucky he didn't shoot them first before turning a gun on himself ... i hope they all went out to buy lotto tickets ... cause he did not have anything to loose at that point, it is surprising he did not shoot them first ... two things could account for such an act: psychiatic illness or fanaticism, the sort of act a follower of bin ladin would pull off for example ... but in terms of shots to the head this one is a bit mild as they go; a shot through the open mouth directed at nasal passages and cavernous sinus, will produce a much more profuse bleeding, as it gushes out like a fountain ... also a high velocity projectile entering the skull from posterior and leaving anteriorly through the face would as well produce a much more gruesome images, as projectiles enter through a small hole, but leave a body with a much wider, explosive force, creating a large exit wound that can essentially rip an entire face apart ... but i think this kind of video is a very good example for fans of bloody action movies and proponents of war like the one we have in Iraq; this is a very mild and clean image of what really happens when you kill someone, it is not pretty ...

was that gun a colt 1911 .45 caliber? If so, damn that didnt do as much as I thought it would. I have a 9MM gun and bullets are quite thick. I've shot with .45 caliber and the bullets are really thick...

if it was a .45 it would have exited alot messier. it had to be something small like a 9mm or .22. 22's dont' have alot of power behind them so they enter and just bounce around. a .45 would have gone straight through.

besides, 22 is easier to conceal than a 45. There are even 177 caliber guns that are even less powerul than a 22. they aren't very common though.

It happened Down Here In california, san bernadino county I guess The guy was wanted for attempted Murder Of a MotorCycle Police Officer That Was Critical And they picked him up during a traffic stop, Did Not search him, and he was facing a lot of time! Then BAM! I remember seeing it on the news(not the video).
