Never thought I'd live to see the day when a Volvo laps the Nordschleife

Too bad about the music because the 5cylinder Volvo engine actually sounds pretty good. Must be one interesting ride through "Der Gryne Hölle" with almost 400bhp on your front wheels.

Ah, you people don't know what a Volvo can do. There are the R cars that stock delivers 300hp. Then there are all those old 240 models with tons of mods that will blow the doors off of anything you throw at them... :fist:

Volvos rock. It all started with the T5R. They used to run them in Super Touring, then the S40s. I remember a commercial...it showed a touring car Volvo going around a turn, then showed the tape rewinding and playing it again. Then the screen went blank and said, "Yes, a Volvo." The kicker was the old 850s in Super Touring were th 850 wagons if I remember.

I would still go for a nice condition 850R if I had the money. :D
