Maybe McLaren actually has a chance of developing a decent car then. Kimi and Montoya aren't very good at giving technical descriptions of what is wrong with their cars, so maybe if Mika was to do developmental testing, tey could get the technical help that they need.

It would be nice to see Mika back in the F1 cockpit, even if it;s not a race seat 8)

I see very strange news that a former formula 1 worldchampion after two years of his retirement in formula 1, he goes back to the formula 1 as a test driver.....anyway....everybody knows his link with mercedes......so who knows the Hakkinens return.......see what happens

Although i would love to see hakkinen back in an F1 car again, a rumor is a rumor.

But i guess since he is still linked with McLaren, it may happen sometime in the future.

Kimi can develop a car. Not as good as Mika but still. Monty is just plane bad at that . Ralf did all the developping at Williams.

I doubt he will return. He is not in shape for F1, and since the cockpit of the MP4-20 will be even smaller than the MP4-19 (Wurz probably won't fit in the 20), I doubt he will fit in the cockpit.
On the other hand I'd love it if he makes a comeback. He is way cooler than Kimi and Monty. A nice, dry sence of humour, and he can speak English.

I don't expect Mika to test for McLaren except for maybe a one-off publicity appearance. Kimi isn't bad at testing. He is just reluctant to the media and he is plenty fast enough to drive a race car to its limit.

I just mentioned Kimi in response to another post. :D

Sorry, didn't mean to stray so far off of the subject
