Please dont insult a sublime Dino. This is some bastard child of some plastic kit car.
i bet it is some kind of kit car that is based on an old beetle. there are few of those here in finland.

i think it is one of two things a kit on a datsun or on an old beetle. i have seen some of those around and actually follow one similar to the shape of this and it was a kit on a beetle. but definetly not a ferrari. just found out they used to put kits on old celica's so it could be one of them

Looks like a Fiberfab Bonito to me...a 70´s VW based Kit Car.
I recently spotted it again 2 and a half years later in the exact same spot on the Gold Coast. :o
It's a Royale Sabre kit car.

Yeah, got back a few days ago. :)
I didn't meet the owner; there were Royale Sabre badges on it.
Wow, I haven't posted for quite some time.

Its good your back, we've had a lack of Perth members since possessed_beaver and enigmatic have both been pretty quiet lately.

The car, perhaps the same car was featured in one of the free booklets given out at the Meadow Brook Concours d'Elegance 2005.
It's a Porsche 914 with a 6 cyl 911 engine and kit car fiberglass body.
It recently sold at auction for somewhere around $20,000 which is a lot for that odd creation.
I'll try to scan the caption/article and post it soon.
PM me if I forget to. :)

Upon closer inspection that might be a Kelmark GT, look it up if you want.
Here it is, not $20,000 only $7,000...............I paid $7,000 for my 911, okay so it needed some work too.

Maybe I was using the wrong spelling or something, but all the Royale Sabre kit cars I've seen posted on the Internet are of quality Jaguar and MG knock offs.
I have not yet found when or when they produced a mid engined model.
I think there are other 914 Porsche based kit cars, I think this Royale Sabre is one of them.
I'm interested in a link if anyone finds one. I doubt anyone would falsely badge this car, I just want to know the story behind the machine at this point.
The lines (shape and form at any angle) on this car are better than most kit cars - nice car.
