I think you're not often going to see a Quattroporte in this colour:

i dont like it in that color at all, too flashy for such an elegant luxury car i think.

Very ugly colour! :(

But what's interesting to me is the cars in the background of the first pic. Is there more where these pictures came from?

I don't like it at all in this color, it must be a special request as I don't see this color in the Maserati offer :
 Quattroporte configurator (http://www.maserati.com/jsp/cc4p/esterni.jsp?allestimento=base&BV_SessionID=@@@@0342261599.1102508162@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadddffllljecefeceegdgimdfmf.0)

You can configure your own Quattroporte :P Very nice !!

These are pics of the 90 anni Maserati event, held in September.
The cars in the background are all Maserati's ;)

Thanks for the link! There were so much fantastic cars to see there (Ghibli spider, Khamsin, Merak SS, Mistral, A6 GCS, Barchetta), but then in the last page, I nearly fainted. Goddamnit! The 450 S is just perfect from every angle... :D It's been my favourite Maser for a long time, but still every time I see it I can only watch in awe. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if that car could make grown men cry.

Not the first color I would pick...I saw one in a deep red (no clue what the Italian name is), and and it looks just wonderful. It really needs a dark color to look good.

Prugna Metallico? Metallic Prune? hahahah...

Bordeaux Pontevecchio is what you're looking for.
Giallo Modena doesn't suit the Quattroporte.

In fact, most non-metallic colours don't fit the Quattroporte.

Well technically the Quattroporte is two in one- a sports car and a limousine. It's a good colour for a sports car, but pathetic for a limo. This Maser looks best in dark colours or silver.

not cool if it was a boy racer "evreyone look at me" kinda car ie: an evo/subaru, i would think, cool/unique, but because it's a luxuary car.. yuckk!

that guy should be shot, and it is a factory color i saw it when looking through the choices in the portfolio at thte dealer, we had a silver one for a week and my parents were out of town and left me the keys for the weekend :) I wouldnt own one though its only a good car going all out like a ferrari in a sedan body, you cant drive it slow like a 7 series and still enjoy it :(

Hmm... I think its a bit too plain? Maybe if it were shinny? No not shinny as in they type of shinny paint ricers use. I mean something with more detail or something? Not sure what I am trying to look for though.
