FORD GT - TOMBALL FORD - TEXAS

I have family down in Houston and some of them own a part of the Ford dealership or something..I dont know but anyways..they are very aware of my obsession with cars, and they knew that I would like to see it and every thing..however, for insurance reasons or something..they couldnt even open the clamshell or the doors because someone in england had just bought it on ebay for $307,000 - the auction actually ended less but for somereason the sale price was much more.

RC - I know what a big corvette enthusiast you are...but this is real American Muscle.. :D jk - its amazing in person though if you havent seen it- I cannot believe the older car was actually 4 inches shorter, in the picture you can see how short it is - I'm about 6'1. - and by the way I do not always look that gay...I was having a rough morning lol

Ive seen the real GT40, have pics on my phone ill send them to myself and upload them in here. Its amazing how nice those cars look in person.

It was shipped out yesterday I guess - Al the salesman showed me some photos of it on his phone.

Looks like they had it outside with the doors hood/trunk open and even started it up and gave a "dealer prep" -pity we missed that spectacle.. ;)

dammit..I could have had someone taking pictures of that, my uncle was telling me they had to do the state inspection and everything on it before they shipped it off..but he wouldnt let me sit in it for insurance crap..and what not, BUT, no worries..my good friends dad is getting one and its supposed to be in by new years..so I definitely will be taking pictures of that to share with the community

hehe, im so glad to see so many photos of the GT from members here!
you know, i cant think of another car that so many people just even liked being around! this car is going to be as 'common' as a dodge viper... but really, its got something that the viper doesnt, and im not perfectly sure what it is... history, enigma perhaps?
