i was in attendance of a wrx cruize in my fine city today, i got a few pictures, most of the time i was fearing for my life in the presance of alot of psyco cars.

i got some video footage and put it together, i recomend downloading it, if you like wrx.. or music, or people breaking the law

a close friend of mine.

we oftern drive around and have a good time! and look for ppl 2 race, but no one rely races us :(

and basicley beacuase i dont have a wrx to go on a wrx cruize, we take his :P

i got a photo of it,
it's pretty stock, running 160kw at the wheels, with an exhaust and intake, and ECU chip.

as you can see we could of beat that evo :) we where sitting on 160km/h with about 3k of revs on tap, and he was gunning it overtaking us.

after that cruize im going to stop getting spedo fotage, because we are never traveling that fast to take a pic of :P

as for racing, only video we have taken is against that M5, we raced a skyline once and missed 2nd gear - very embarasing!

Very very nice pics, beaver!! Especially the pics you took out of the window and the panoramic one. The R34 GT-R owner maybe had a Scooby as previous car, that's maybe why he attended the Scooby cruize? Most Skyline owners I know of had an Evo or Scooby before they bought their Skyline. So that could make sence.

Watch the video. A nice vid, but you changed the camera view a bit to much ant to quickly. I know it's really hard to shoot in car vids. You want to have everything on video: frontal view, speedo view, and the view of passing cars. When I first shot some in car vids I had the same problem and even now it's hard to resist changing the camera view frequently.

nope, multanovas in Perth still use Ka band radio signals around 36ghz.
same goes for traffic patrol cars equipped with radar; K band.
the only laser in use in WA is the portable, handheld jobbies that you occationally sight on the side of the unsafe road propped up by a nice man in a bright orange vest. these are obviously near on impossible to detect with in any useful range.. not really a concern to me, since they're so rare.

the conversion factor is 1.34102209, so 175kW is nearly 235hp. :wink:

might as well just wait a day or two when i pick up the 2000 model i've bought. yep thats right, the 04 is being replaced with an older car; the spare change going toward a property investment.
being around 150kg's lighter, the 00 should easily outgun the 04 with equal mods. should be good fun :twisted: ... again!
i found one i was happy with, in as-new condition etc.. so it's not so much of a compramise.

yeah thats right!
it's an MY00, silver sedan, manual (duh), fairly stock, bar the pod filter, bugeye model rims and lovely eibach springs. driving it, it felt every bit as smooth as a new one, very nice!:o as i said - it's like new, inside and out. i took it to the workshop that looks after the 04 and the guys were mighty impressed.
i paid a little more than the average going rate for an MY00 but i was more than happy, given what the mechanics had to say about it.
its done around 50k kms, which is obviously very low but not extremely so. it has been serviced every 2500kms (yeah, crazy!) so has just had its major 100k km service.
