Very fast and lightweight evo 6 rs sprint.
CPP’s latest project is now finished! After selling our last demo car we were left wondering what should take its place. Initial ideas were to build a 7RS sprint and hill climb car, but with the classic EVO 6 still being the most popular model with our customers we chose to build another 6. We were lucky to receive a phone call from Extreme Autos of Dudley where Colin Ward had just taken an EVO 6 RS sprint in px. A deal was quickly done for the 99 plate RS sprint no '00' - first of the RS sprint's built for their Managing Director’s personal use! With the lessons learned with our previous demo car we decided the only way to build this project was to start from a bare shell up. The RS was stripped of every last component, and nut, bolt and all under seal removed. Then due to the move of premises, we didn’t have the time to continue with the CPP project car for a number of months, so it was left to gather dust in the corner of our new workshop. We had always planned to return to TOTB after losing an engine the previous year with the old car, so with 14 weeks until TOTB3 it was now time to get on with building our entry for the event!

The bare shell was now in a fully stripped state and ready for a full safety devices grpA cage to be installed, this was then prepped and painted in CPP blue and the rest of the shell was given a fresh layer of white paint. We were now ready to start building the shell into a car.

Here is a run down of the cars current spec after winning the TOTB3 handling final with the quickest time of the day! and also being awarded the trophy for fastest Japanese car around the circuit!

WOW, thats an amazingly well built Evo. they should have a showdown with HKS's Evo, and just see how they compare. It would be great to watch these two amazing cars go at it. It sucks that the track in the video doesn't give the car chance to release all it's power, either way this is an awesome car, and thanks pagani.

dang that's a really sweet evo. I like that they gave a true complete overhaul, looks great. Looks like it should be quite the performer too, considering the detail work they did...
