I picked up my copy of XOM in the goal of playing this damn and I was uterly jaw-dropped. this game is fucking amazing better graphics than pgr2 and GT3 and actaul in game GT4 and the game isn't even finished being enhanced in that department this is base on the E3 demo! I wish I doulc so you this game in real life you would be just as syked! I just can't wait till 04' Feb

i'm pretty much sold... pgr2 was a worthwhile thrill (until my disc got scratched), and since forza is supposedly a more advanced game with better graphics... it should be worth the money.

Hmm, from everything I've read, the graphics are not as good as PGR2's. Thats not to say they are terrible, but they aren't as good. I'm also told the brakes are extremely touchy. Barely pulling the trigger locks them up. But then, this is a demo and not the finished game.
Needless to say, I can't wait for the game! I hope someone builds a steering wheel worth a damn for it as well.

shit am I not gonna believe all the GT4 threads because they like GT4, most of the bad comments about the demo are from GT fanboys try visiting igns message board and check out the forza vs. GT4 thread. GT4 was pushed back to 05' christmas a long time ago and they just pushed it back to 06' feb.

I looked through the files on the demo disc and found a file called "tracklist" which includes all the tracks that I think will be included in the final version of FM.
There are 29 tracks in total but you can definitely count on it that there will be a lot of variations, especially the city tracks!
I sorted the list so you can better read it!

besides, considering GT4 was supposed to be out nearly a year ago and keeps getting "delayed" for 2 years the excuses are starting to get pathetic in my opinion

i've seen the forza pics and videos...the graphics looks great to me, but about the gameplay... :roll: it similar to NFS underground and SSR IMO, the GT-4 is more real driving simulator :wink: and not only great graphics makes a great game, but gameplay also important. But everyone different right, it's ok to be different :wink:

Some of the screenshot makes me think Forza is quite good, but some makes me think the other way.
The video, the following are my observations
- the curbs are wayy to high and no realistic
- the track surface is too flat and doesn't really show the actual texture.
- some sections don't even resemble the actual track, wtf?

Yes, this replay is pretty amazing, but mind u, this is the replay and not the actual game play. The NS vid before is the game play and show totally different quality (shitty that is). I know there's no damage modeling in GT4, but there's no way to get an accurate damage model in a video game anyways, so I really don't care on this issue.

Forza doesn't use the GT4's enhanceing replay mode, your stuck in that game aren't you? Forza uses actual gamplay footage and doesn't enhance anything, it doesn't need to.

Sure it has some good points about it, but for them to claim it as "the ultimate driving simulator" as they say on the cover i think its a joke
the cars all sound the same, have poor grip, some of the graphics like signs are blurry and lacking, and you cant even do a donut.

as time passes i hear more and more people being disappointed by GT4, its too bad cause it was a hell of a game and now i dont even wanna buy it, and most probably i wont. I guess forza will fill what GT left, haha.

Let's hope before it goes on sale Forza loses that cartoon-like, almost cell shaded look about it.

I think thats because all of the taint and the gloss paint he put on his car.
The paint is like gloss, bold, that kind the changes color in the sun, and also has engine swapping :) very pleasing. This is still an older build tho, the Final will be more refined.
Also check out the rims in the video very realistic looking.

^Pretty good reading, I totally agree that it is more fun to have an online mode, and that GT4 claiming to have an improvement in the AI department is total BS. However, I doubt Forza has better physics engine than GT4. Let's wait and see, I am sure there are quite a few members here are gonna buy this game.
*Edit* I've watched one of the blue mountain video, I gotta say, the car is model nicely, but it too suffer from the same wheel problem as GT4. The wheels on the replay video are 2D instead of 3. Also, the track is kinda weird looking, the trees, the rails, the surface of the road.........there's just something wrong.....

I have just played the final version of Forza Motorsport...... 4 days before it hits shelves!!!!!
Based on first impressions, it's a really good game that will keep you hoocked on it for hours and hours. The environmental graphics are amazing and as the car models. You can do so much to ur car, it'll take me hours to make a specific design and put it on my car and hours more to get the settings just right on my cars. The physics engine is very good, perfect balance of understeer and oversteer, i'm guessing it's just like real life but i wouldn't know cause i've never taken a Koenigsegg CC8S on the Nurburgring while doing 70+mph in a corner. The game engine is IMO better than GT4 and it's a lot more challenging to control the cars unlike in GT4. I haven't played it on Live yet but I have played with my frieds via split screen. The damdge modeling is really good and the sounds when you crash are very accurate.
Now that you've heard some of the good, time for the bad. They messed up the Nurburgring!!!!! :x The rumble strips are really big compared to the ones in real life, you can't tell where the bumps are and they missed a few, and It's too wide, you can fit 3 cars side by side, I guess they made it that wide because it was meant to support 8 players on Live. The game has some bad collison detecting because when I spun out on the Ring, I saw the back of my car (from third person view) through the side walls. The sounds are OK like the CGT and the Enzo, but other cars like the Zonda and the Corvette just don't sound that great. I also said that the damadge is really good but what i meant to say was for most cars, I compared crashes between a CGT and an Enzo and the CGT was very accurate, but the Enzo wasn't, It barely had any scratches on it even after I dragged along a side wall at about 50mph for 500ft. I guess Ferrari didn't want ppl to destroy their cars THAT much.
Overall, from the 1 hour and 30 min that I have played I'd say it's a good game and defenately worth buying.

Sounds to me like they have not quite finished it - and will be shoving patches down you throat via XBox Live continually.

No they aren't rendered useless. I can only imagine the outrage that would come if it were so. Cause, you know, it would be an absolute blast to go on Live and lose every race cause some dipshit pushes you off the track repeatedly.
I think that damage does have an effect on the car though. Slows it down, won't go in a straight line, maybe some speed loss, etc....
Why bother with it? Because when you hit something, shit breaks. I'd rather have cosmetic damage in PGR2 than none at all like GT4. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I said I was guessing, and my fault for not making a bit more clear in the previous post but I was comparing it more to GT4, since i've played that game as well. Also I don't have any sort of wheel for the xbox so I'm stuck with a controller.

the damdge is real in the game, ie. downshift too quickly and the engine and transmission will be fucked.

Actually my friend has it, he has a modded xbox and the game got leaked onto the net about two days ago so he just downladed it.

The bluriness is not progressing ....it's simply blur or no blur....and if you look on both side of the track, at the same distance, one side is blur and the otherside is not.

Well despite what everyone here is saying it seems to be getting rather good reviews and coming out on top of even GT4 within those reviews.(all turned into /10 scores)

it always is impressive when Gamespot gives an Xbox game a high rating. can't wait to get back home to my Xbox and get this game :D
I could really care less if the physics end up 100% realistic since i don't have a wheel for Xbox anymore, as long as its a challenging game with pretty graphics i'm pleased.
that said, though, it's werid that they wouldn't implement the active wings for the CGT, Enzo, and SLR, since PGR2 had them. :? I know it's probly different developing houses, but still.

Ok I got the game. Its very good. A lot of different modes and things to do etc..........
as far a "SIMULATION" goes, its a simulator alright,,,,,,,,for the masses that is....so you got your GT4/GT3 physics.
The graphics are very good.
The cars are quite nice.
The physics......well its a fucking pain in the ass to drive with the gaypad. And you can forget about trail braking in this game, its just a pain in arse trying to trial brake on this shite....... I have all the aids off so i dont know what it drives like with them on. I guess youll get PGR2 style physics with everything enabled.
But yeah its a good game, worth the money if you are out tere for a car game.

Guys more on the game.
I like it more and more.
The replays are very nice. And there is a great feature in the reply. There is a live telemetry which tells you everything, Gs, tire friction, suspenison values everthing dynamic,,,,,,live power and torque that you have etc......very cool.

It is exactly what I expected - a PGR2 with a couple of extras.
Sure - lots of modes - but that it.
Major complaints I have are why should I drive from a bumper view? When will these developers get it that human drivers have heads above the steering wheel.. :)
Second complaint - it looks like a game. The graphics are "game like".
Third complaint - the car modelling is rather shitty.
Forth complaint - (and you knew this was coming ;)) driving Tsukaba back to back GT4 vs Forza - and the huge lack of enjoyment that not having a wheel is becomes as clear as daylight.
Out the box GT4 kicks Forzas arse everywhere except AI behaviour.
With regard to "worth the money" - I guess it is if you think of it as a great toy car to displayon your shelf next to your other detailed collectibles.
If only the Forza AI could come drive with me in GT4... ;)

This is so much better than PGR2 ..... mainly because it's harder for ppl to cheat (cut, shift glitch, etc) and ebcasue I already have a rank 1 on one of the time trial tracks :D
I have noticed something about the Forza AI - if you stay away from them you are ok - but get near them, try pass too close, and the AI seems to sense you and will side-swipe you and send you flying.
In real racing this conduct is a blag flag offence.. ;)
So far I rate Enthusia's AI drievrs at 9, Forza at 7 and GT4 at 2.
The way some Forza tracks are laid out, you end up having to do flatout fkying NFS Underground style driving that is a little unrealistic - then other tracks are super realistic and technical.
Sadly, the Nurburgring seems to have been given the PGR treatment and seems to have been smoothed out too much.
There is a track that reminds of Bathurts the way it winds up a hill and down again - all the while walls are 3 feet away.
I have managed to get to level 18 and have won a numebr of cars for use in the different class races.
I started with a IS300 and run Laguna a bunch of times, made some money, modded it and went to town. :)
Another car that saw a lot of use was the Lancia Delta Integrale - qualifies fro 4WD races, European events, and hatchback events... and detuned can even meet certain horsepower limited races.
The Evo MR (which I think was a prize car) proved quite versatile as have another 2 prize cars - a Mugen Integra and a tuned MR2.
All'yall know my only major complaint about Forza - no decent wheel - but I am surviving... ;)

Even though I haven't driven the course yet, I have been to the Road Atlanta track and the designers did a real good job with the elevation changes that this track is famous for. It would have been nice if the game had a setting for surface realism, when racing on a lot of these tracks I wish the surfaces were like the real thing.
Don't have the Enthusia game, but I think that for the money, Forza is a very good game. Now I have to save up for the Fanatec wheel.
I have heard of this Fanatec wheel and want to buy it - but it is not on sale anywhere I ahve seen and there appears to be ZERO marketing behind it.
These guys are business IDIOTS - what a missed opportunity - this wheel should have been onsale in every electronics store the day Forza was launched - they would have had unbelievable sales in the first week.

You mean grip levels changing etc?
If you want that then you need GTR. As the race progresses marbles build up offline and grip increases on the line, but its hard to overtake and drive in general as you get further into the race because you need to follow the racing line not go sliding on the marbles and its hard to pass with rubber balls on the track....

I totally agree with u, i specially like the kind of real tracks for racing and the NY ones.
So far Ive been playing a lot, and at the beginning i didnt like it that much, but im starting to, and now i cant get out of it. I must say its a really good game, though the car models arent too good, they look nice in the replays, but whrn ur playing not that much, and theyre too shiny as everyone knows.
id give it an 9, it would be an 8, but ferrari and porsche give it an extra point

Forza is the perfect compliment to Enthusia - one is realistic to point of frustration - but awesome fun, the other is just realistic enough to be able to pickup and enjoy when you decide enough uber-realism for the day has been had with the first... :D

You had better master the TT Vette - you will need something like that to win over those Vipers. That's if you don't have the coin to buy the Viper Comp. Coupe and mod it to the max to take on the Hennessey TT.
Now that was a battle - at hard level, the Venom 800TT is driven like Hennessey used to run his business ... dirty and dishonest and will run you down if you get in the way.
It looks like the Lingenfelter is one of the fw tuner cars you can paint and decal.

You had better master the TT Vette - you will need something like that to win over those Vipers. That's if you don't have the coin to buy the Viper Comp. Coupe and mod it to the max to take on the Hennessey TT.
Now that was a battle - at hard level, the Venom 800TT is driven like Hennessey used to run his business ... dirty and dishonest and will run you down if you get in the way.
It looks like the Lingenfelter is one of the fw tuner cars you can paint and decal.

In career mode, purchase the Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 from the Volkswagen dealership. Next, head into the Garage and the Buy Upgrades screen. Enter the "Engine and Power" section and purchase every engine upgrade available except for the Engine Swap (that includes each individual turbo upgrade, each intercooler, etc.). When you've finally purchased every upgrade, you can then purchase the second engine that's available in the Engine Swap for 2,500 Cr.
After purchasing the new engine, re-install the stock engine. You can then sell the second engine that you purchased for 44,092 Cr (remember, you only paid 2,500 Cr for it) for a profit. You can then buy the engine again (for 2,500 Cr), install the stock engine again, and sell the new engine again for 44,092 Cr. You can repeat this trick to build up as much money as you want
Well - the sell modded Jetta engine for profit will just get you cash to buy cars or mods - but will not count towards winnings, which is what determines your level.
So far cheaters have been denied... so far..

RC45, actually now that u are level 30+ go to the high power open, and ull find a race in the same track, just 2 more laps but u get around 30 grand more, making it a total of (for those of u who dont know math) around 68 grand, not bad :D
Yep yep.. I have found my modded GT3 is good for that race. So far you don't really need to buy that many cars - the awards make logical sense as you need access to certain cars.

After ur level 35 the same race its at the porfessional power open, same amount of laps, about 15 grand +
The AI is very good in the lower levels, but here at level 35 and 36 on Hard setting they pull off blag flag offenses as if the AI drivers were lifted from GT4... :P
You will be hauling down towards a bend, braking from 190mph and the guy behind you takes late braking to new heights... right into your arse.
So I tried to see just what Easy would do - well apart from letting you get a 6 or 8 second lead by lap 3 of 6, then the AI mysteriously catches up with you in time to give you a carbon fibre enema by lap 5... :)
But I refuse to give up - I want that F40 really, really badly. :twisted:

I bought the Viper Comp Coupe and im doing well in the vette vs viper comp. I loved the 360 Modena race. That was very fun, the sound of all the ferraris was turning me on.

Yep = and as soon as I hit XBoxve I realized this was PGR3. ;) --- all the little kids and thousands of Enzo's - everywhere. :)
The fact that I went from Level 35 to 50 in an hour and a half says it all - about as realistic as Micheal Jackson liking girls...
the big difference though in this game tha PGR, is that they can all thake their enzos and what not, but they will get beat by a Civic if they cant drive them. Its funny because when damage is on the lil kids run into walls and then their Tranny stops working right and they have to do the lap at 70 MPH at most. :lol:

Not really - all I found online was oval and speed ring races power leveling people at 380,000+ credits per race.
Rather sad situation that the game has been overtaken by cheats/explots in the first week of release.
But not to worry, I have my honestly earned F40 and F50 to show for it.. :)
Well, honestly earned with my power levelled Enzo.. :(

Exploits and online cheats will have you at level 50 in abou 1 to 2 hours.
What a bunch of loser kids. IT doesnt matter about them though. I just run the ring and abolish the n00bs. THe quit quickly too after they hit that first wall and their car keeps wanting to go left.
I am almost done with 8 custom skinned F355 Challenge cars.
They are roughly based on actual team cars, but I didn't bother make Nordica, benneton, Agip and other logos... just the colour scheme and then used decals that fit the colour scheme.
I figure that the first serious 7 JW Forza folks can each buy 1, and thats what we can use for online league racing.

Am i the only one that has tried to train Divater? Well it sucks cause they always crash and lose the lead, but i'm up to level 36 without any cheating whatsoever RC :wink: and have 1.9 million in the bank. Funnest car yet is the #23 IMSA 911 GT3 RS, but does anyone else have issues when putting slicks on a street car that it seems like it handles worse? I'm not good with tuning tire pressure, i seem to make it worse if i touch anything. :?

I haven't had any bad luck with slicks they can cause problems under braking and turning at the same time if you get a little to ambitious on the straights. If you are going to mess with tire pressure don't overinflate them too much or you'll loose your contact patch but too little pressure and not very stable turning I would stay between 30-50 psi on any car but some are better at lower end and some higher that's the problem it's vehicle specific. also I'm not sure if this makes a difference in the game but the track temperature would affect it in real life.

I finally did it! I used a C6 Supercharged with everything to the max and was having some speed issues but I decided to play dirty and threw the lingenfelter off the track at the last turn at Mazda Raceway/ Laguna Seca.
I think I used a Z06 for that one. I may even have a relay somewhere.
Here is my first attempt at a Forza panorama - the trick is finding a decent replay camera position to work with.

i posted some pages ago how to get easy money, and to level up you should go live ;) or read in the previows pages the fast races where u arn big bucks and level up

Well - that's why I power leveld with 9 million of winnings online - that got me to level 50 - and I then was able to race for the 962 and the F333SP.
The last couple cars I want are the 1973 RS and the 1964 GTO and the last 2 racing Vettes.
In fact, I'll sell you (or any one esle for that matter) what ever car you want or need :)
Got bored while watching "White Noise" last night - so this is what I came up with.
A 288 GTO that has been prepped for a track day with a number (from the orange group.. :P - anyone who has been to a trackday may be familiar with the practice of speed groups) - while the owner and his friends carefully placed duct tap on all the edges that could be stone chipped - the Road America track stewrd wouldn't let him tape up the lights.. ;) hehe

I think there is a size limit to the vault, as it doesn't work for vids greater than a certain size (50MB I think). You need to upload the vid via FTP to JW (get details from Dan or TT) and then an empty (0kb) .rar file to the vault and then one of the admins will swap the vid into the vault for you :wink:

I used to have a TV vard- but since I removed that card, I have the XBox connected to a DV Camcorder, which is connected via Firewire to the PC - then capture video and stills that way.
Max resolution is only DV so it's not as great as those TV card captures.
The captured stills are then blended and combined if needed.

not from an xbox, Forza, or GT4 fan pov I would have to say its a must buy for any racer. Very Sweet.
I don't give a flying fukc what "every paid by micro$haft reviewer" has to say about the game - it is an arcade racer with some fun aspects- but is far from "realistic" - it is no where near GT4 in graphics - and their verson of some imortant tracks have been optimized for insane arcade style racing speeds and laps.
Forza in NOT better than GT4 - other than AI (in some modes and on some tracks) it is just different.
I have tried Forza with the Fanatec wheel - compared to GT4 with the Logitech DFP it is quite pathetic - really.
And after having a go at GTR on the PC with the DFP even GT4 needs a littl work in some places.
And don't even get me started on the Froza version of the Northloop - what an arcade mode flatout racing joke.
Again - modded to allow insane arcade speeds with modded Enzos.
Now, combined with the decals and painting custom skins, and some fun custom race settings - the game is fun - but that's it.

RC45 you are at an all time low in your posting career, seriosuly when I used my older account I wasn't as bad as you are now. If its unrealisitic you can tell that to the owner of Road Atlanta who reviewed the game and was amazed by it. I have to admit the cars are off in performance most of the time even my beloved Ford GT am I argueing over it no. RC you have to figure out when a game been beaten on its own ground, but I will respect your oppinion and i'm not here to start a flame war.

So what the fuck is the deal with the online play?!? I am playing a career mode and my best car is a Ferrari Modena with every mod you can have. That still just makes it an S2. But when you go to race online EVERYONE has an S1 so I have no chance to begin with! What really pisses me off is most of the time it wont even let me finish the race! I'm just a few seconds behind but it ends and I get a DNF!!?! That is so lame!! Why even bother racing if you don’t have a X1 in what ever category?!? It really pisses me off, I here playing and they don’t even let me finish! I have actually gotten to finish just 2 races so far out of about 10!!
Plus it seems pretty gay that my best car is always up against almost only Enzos modded as far as they will go. Fucking stupid bullshit!! So far I find the online play to TOTALLY SUCK!! I guess I have to get an Enzo if I want to race online in the S category with any hope of success!! And if that is the case why would anyone ever race any car in any category that is not a 1? Nice design, 75% of the cars in this game have no chance in online play!!

So I sold a bunch of cars and bought a koenigsegg and now I'm kicking some ass. And yes you win a shit load of credits for any online race. But the fact that you can not set sub-categories in car classes just ruins the online. You should be able to have a race where only S2 cars etc. are allowed. Like I said, the fact that you can’t makes the vast majority of cars in this game unusable in online.
Also the Nurburgring in online is a joke!! Yes the Nurburgring in the real world has traffic and that is a major factor. But they NEVER start an 8 car race on it!! It is so ridicules. When you race in Forza on the Nring with collision turned on it becomes a game that has nothing to do with driving skill. It’s just a matter of surviving the first few miles which amounts to basically a mosh pit of cars crashing into each other over and over.
The Nurburgring is way, way to narrow for that type of racing in real life and makes the online version just a complete joke!!
They should have put some traffic on the ring including motorcycles and have it only be a time trial. Not a race of 8 cars all starting at the same point!! :roll:
I'm still hooked on Forza but its online leaves a lot to be desired..

I just got Forza so no doubt there will be some noob questions from me in the near future. I started in Europe with the TT and spent a bit upgrading it to about 350hp. I put a paintjob on in which I'll post a piccy of later, although it was my first effort :wink:
Here's the first question, I have 77000cr. Do I buy the (not-significantly quicker than the TT) Ferrari (430 or 355) or save the cash for now, bearing in mind I have won an ok MR car (NSX)? and if I save the cash, what is the best thing to save up for?

General Q: Now what about this XBox live. What do I need to buy so I can come online and whip ur asses (may not be the case at first. Or ever)?
I have a DSL modem but its not wireless and the PC is 70-80ft from the Xbox :? Do I need to buy a wireless modem, and if so, does anyone know much about these cos if I buy one I want one that will work in the US and the UK, all I know is that there is 802.11a and b, and 802.11g. One std is US and one UK. Is there a modem that does both? Maybe google is my friend here, but if anyone knows off the top of their heads thatd be helpful.

to connect the xbox wireless... you need the wireless adapter... about 100$... personally... 7c /ft. of CAT5 cable, 2$ in connectors, and a 30$ crimpor is all i need... if you arent up to crimping... then wireless is the way to go, or your xbox closer to your router/modem.

Right, I gave it a go, I must be missing a trick
Bought the VR6, did all the motor upgrades, then bought new motor. Sell old motor but it wont let you sell the stock one, so I sell the new (241hp) motor and I lose 700cr or so on top of all the upgrades.
Duh? I dont suppose anyone would be kind enough to walk me thru this?

Money Cheat/Bug
During career mode, buy the Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 from the Volkswagen dealership. Once you've purchased the car, go to the Garage and the Buy Upgrades section. Cycle through to the "Engine and Power" section and purchase all engine upgrades available, including all individual turbos and intercoolers, but stop short of getting the engine swap.
Once everything has been attained, you then buy the second engine that's on offer in the Engine Swap area, it should cost around 2500 Cr. Once you've purchased the new engine, forget about it and replace it with the old engine again and simply sell the new engine, which should go for about 44,000 Cr. That's quite a markup on the 2500 Cr you paid for it. Once you've sold the new engine, just keep rinse and repeat and before long you'll be the richest personality in the universe.
Sounds like your "new" XBox has been patched already :(
Was it a used or refurb? Perhaps deleting any XBox Live profiles and Forza save games/profiles will allow you to do a "fresh" "install" of Forza...

It's a brand new Xbox :oops: Yeah, I was going to buy used but once I'd bought used and added a used copy of Forza it was the same price give or take the price of a beer... I got the Xbox + Forza bundle for $179+tax
Anyway, It's likely I have a later version (assuming they produced another iteration of the sw) where that bug got fixed?
There are no xbox profiles on it other than the one I created when I started the box up for the first time nor have I hooked up to Live yet.
I may try a 'fresh install' again anyway, and do the early races again. I think I'm only lvl 11 or 12 right now.
Have you hooked up mto XBox Live at all?
If it's new, then you should be good to go. I have not heard of a "second" edition of the software.

Now re-install the stock engine, then sell the upgraded modded engine... for a profit of about $40,000.
Then buy it again... for $2000 - then install the stock engine again, and then sell the modded upgarde engine for $40,000 - again... and so on and so on.
Once you can afford to, do the same with the Z06... netts you about $100,000 per go round.
Then accumulate about $20 Million or so... this will give you a truely open ended experience.
I am really glad I did this early on - measn as I unlock shit I can buy 3 or 4 copies of a car, paint them, then sell them to my second profile that also had about $20 million cash to begin with.
This means I get to keep copies of stuff I want and need.

I'm really enjoying this game, almost worth buying an Xbox for and I'm glad I did. Maybe it is my TV or something but the graphics look lots better to me. On GT4 I get lots of 'shimmering' around chain link fences and such (difficult to explain) I think it might be called 'anti aliasing' although I am nto so sure. Anyway, with the XBox set up to do all modes (480P 720 and 1080) the picture is amazing.
The highlights of Forza for me are really the AI and the ability to cosmetically mod your car a bit more than GT allows.
I'd like to see race conversions like back in GT1, but then I think everyone has been saying that with each GT release since that time!

Well, I was going to ask about a JW racing team/car club...
As soon as I get this ethernet cable fabricated (nth kindly gave me some tips) I will come onto Live for sure.

GT3 had a easy-money race on super speedway too, I'm pretty sure!
We need to find an easy way to send our Drivatars to each other, this way we can hold "offline" races against all the JW Forza players via Drivatars as well as the odd online race.
Sadly drivatars drive "painted" cars without the decals and paint in Head-to-Head mode.

Hehe - I sure do... I have "backups" of all the custom cars :)
Although with the way Forza keeps track of the number of owners, wins and earmings of each car (to help vouch for it's pedigree) the "replacement" will not be the orginal, but rather repurchased backup. So it will now be 4 owners old (Active profile, sold to my backup profile, then resold to my active profile and then sold to you) :)
And earnings and winnings will be zero again :P

oh and T/A 'fabricating' your ethernet cable is easy as pie... wire order on one side=wire order on other side unless you're making a cross-over cable... but dont worry about that :lol: thats only for direct xb0x---->xbox connections. its mostly idiot proof... but i've been doing it since my sophmore year of HS lol.
Check you local Game Stop/EB Games etc... used Forza ia about $10 or $15 I think.
