This past weekend was the 25th anniversary of Pink Floyd the THE WALL

Spent the weekend playing the album blasting in my car, but I did have to play Dark Side of the Moon (my fav album, and I think it is better then the wall IMO, and you just gotta dry dark side of OZ, just freaky shit) So I just came back from a friends house and watched the DVD in an Schroomy State shall we say. Makes you think everytime.

Hope you all go out and enjoy the next 25 years (like an anniversary will ever stop :P )

Well everso I wouldn't say that, Syd was a big part in the Wall he was the real "rock star" with drugs and mental breakdowns, but the Big part behind The Wall was Roger (walters). Yet Pink in the story is a mix of all the band members it is really to be Roger.

Yes true, but Syd did always say that he was not as good at making music as the others, and that he wished to only be there for inspiration (as he was and still is)

but with his inspiration he brought alot of bad things to the band with his poor lifestyle (but don't all great artist?) Syd was the inspiration for the band but he didn't bring the music, so it is to sides, the music and the image or inspiration of Pink Floyd (somthing that Syd did better then any of the other members)

Syd was important to the band, but the band is what made the music, and the music is what people love. So you love the music or the image/inspiration....
