hey all the admins here

i was visiting a local forum and gave me this idea
everytime u log on you could see what is new
but instead of scrolling through all the page, and find the last post u visited

just click on the title of the tread and it will take u to the all the post u havnt seen

example, when u visit the tread, there was only 5 post
when u came back there is 10
instead of finding the post urself
it will take u directly into 6th post
u guys know what i mean??

oh yeah and it would show how many post were made during ur last visit to the tread

that feature os already on the page..look on teh homepage on the middle left under your name is says 'view posts since last visit' or something with a number next to it...is that what u're asking about?

Yeh I think it is.. and just click the little symbol to the right of the last post and you'll be take to the first unread one :)

TT has it. Next to every new post right beside the title you will find an orange paper icon. its very small maybe 5X5 pixles. Click that and you will be taken to the first unread post in the topic.

Over on the side where it tells you who was the last poster. If you click on the same paper icon over there it takes you to the last post of the topic.

I use the Show new posts since last visit exclusivly to see whats new since my last visit. Then I just scan that listing for items of interest.

Curious to see how everyone has his own method.. I only use the "view posts since last visit" and only rarely scan through the forums in another way than that :D
