It's interesting how peoples backgrounds influence the way that they feel on subjects like this. As a youngster, we had some horribly bad, hard times but lived in a suburb (a bubble) where posing is everything - clothes, cars, etc. I felt like the ugly duckling because my friends were showing off their 5 car garages and i knew my folks were thinking about petrol money.
Life is a little different now, though my desire for the finer things is there, but it's balanced because i do appreciate both sides of the scale - oppulance, but also struggle. My point is - if somebody purchases something that you may deem to be 'unnecessary' and over-the-top, that's cool, but if they have the ability to, it's their choice, it doesn't affect you, so why not be happy for them?

It's their choice and should not need justification and fan-boy flag-waving support from me or anyone else.. unless that is what they needed and wanted all along - to "show off" the material possesions to all who want to drool over them... ;)
