Nizpro Turbocharging's XR6 4.0-litre turbo engine crank out over one thousand horsepower on their in-house engine dyno. :shock:

Ummm...yes...but think about the packaging constraints...the engine would be inside the passenger compartment.

Well i went to the second open night they had...got videos too...(dl/ul group... 8) )...When i went they atcually managed to get 1224hp... :lol: ...Umm they have done a total of 32 hours with that engine on the dyno...in its 1000hp+ state thay have done about 8 hours...So its very reliable, and whats more impressive is that it still run's stock internals... :shock: ...That engine has been pulled apart now and is being checked for any stress fractures and any other damage...So far they have found nothing... :P

That engine is awesome. Nizpro are going to sell it for around 40 grand.
It makes 750Nm @ 2200rpm and 1476Nm peak! :)

If C&V can get an XR6t (4070 lbs) down the 1/4 in low 10's with not many mods, the future for that engine looks awsome.

At the moment it blows the mighty RB26 and 1Jzte or whatever the Supra runs out of the water.

40 grand in what currency? And they're selling it as a package/crate engine? ...Cuz that would be sick

That must be so hard to put into a car! It would be melting the paint right off the hood. I bet its not that reliable either, Drag-only engine probably. Its pretty cool tho how they can get so much power out of such a small engine. Im planning on building a 1200+hp engine someday, but its gunna be more like 6.5-7L displacement. Thats just impressive out of 4. Skylines got it beat tho :wink:
