Right! I hate not understanding why something does not work properly!!!
A while ago, I could not click the smilies on this site, but could elsewhere, now I can.... :P    8) :? :) :( :o :?:  :| :| :| ...get my point lol. Then, every so often I click links and they don't work, then they do, then they don' again! :? For example, 355forever posted a link to his pics....I followed, all good....I closed the page by mistage, when back to follow link, but no! My computer got two fat fingers and shoved them up at me while laughing (yes my computer has special tallents!!) This is NOT a complaint about the site, as it happens elsewhere.

My first thought was, "Oh no another bloody virus" errr, but both McAfee and Norton cannot find anything wrong. I have recently re-formatted my H/d. I am running WinXP Pro with service pack 1. It is beyond me, I would not mind if the problem stayed, as there would be a definate cause = definate answer, but the goal posts keep changing!

I think it first starts with you telling us what browser and what version your using. Also is it fully up to date with all the windows XP critical updates? Do you have java installed?

Do the smilies work in the quick reply or not workin the quick reply vs the regular reply? Do the smilies not work when you click the ALL button? Do the smilies not work unless you post text first? OR do they not work if you post text first?

See if the issue might have gotten resolved. If this was when you where using the quick reply then I fixed a small issue with quick reply just a bit ago that might have also corrected what your seeing.

Yeah, the smilies seem to be working all the time now. I am using IE6.5. Java is installed. And at the moment I can follow all links.....dunno for how long though!
