i just went over to hybridz.org (pissed off Z site..well..used to be) and they completely redid it. they used to have a shitload of pics, including a few of a Jag V12 powered 240 from Toronto, but now there is like, possibly a third of what used to be there :( it's rather depressing. i think maybe our Gingers section has more pics than what this site does now.

has anyone else noticed their old cyber-stomping grounds slipping and turning into crap? seeing what happened there made me that much happier about discovering this place.

YEAH! I used to be a frequent poster on sites like dsmtuners.com and sport compact cars forum, but they all went to crap when they started deleting content and restricting post as well as the mods getting way to pissy all the time. JW is surely one of the best put up sites I have ever had the pleasure of being a member to, as well as one of best looking!

Ive been meaning to mention this for some time, but I absolutely LOVE the ability to quickly change the appearance of the site between a few different choices on the main page. I think its really cool and keeps the look of the site new, by changing it every once in a while.

Its sad to see the other sites turn to crap, but its good to know that JW is here to stay ! :mrgreen: (at least I think..... :? )

all us older JW members all were regulars at RF. I still cant remember when it started going down hill. Was it before one of their members faked their own deaths, or after? There was basically civil war after that happended.

Vipermaniacs stunt actually briught life back to RF but the whole layout is kinda boring and the speeds are realy slow. Other than that, there are still some cool people there and I hope that RF will get back "on air".

Alot of the regulars just walked away, I haven't heard Chtiss944 there for more than 6 months for example.

I don't know why everebody hates RF so much.
If a few of the people are f***ed up that doesn't mean everything connected to RF is bad. OK?

It pisses me off.

i actually tried getting there once but i couldn't remember if it was .com or .net. once again it was i co worker i saw purusing the site so i thought i would check it out too. that was just about the time i arrived here. started seeing all the negative stuff being posted about RF and decided to stop trying.

i took a look at hybridz forum, it's totally disorganized. half their members are moderators and they all moderate everything so each subforum has like 6 moderators. and they are a total ego trip at that. they ban people like there is no tomorrow for so-called idiotic posts, instead of letting other members flame them the we do here :P

not to mention the unattractive paypal button at the top of the forum for donations :roll:

this is the only forum i post in and chances are, it'll stay that way.

Thanks Jabba, TT and the tech. team for creating, and maintaining such a great atmosphere. (i know you get alot of thanks for it, but its the least we can do)

StangNet has gone downhill too. So much so that a lot of the regular posters have gone elsewhere. This place is really vibrant and alive, but lets face it; if it wasn't for Jabba's generous offer to let us 'live' here ( I can only imagine how expensive it is to host a site such as this) and with the recruitment of his other 'bounty hunters' I'm afraid that his site would have died a long time ago as well.

Stop complaining, you little bitches. We were all members there. I, for one, am proud to have been a member of that site while it was still in its prime.

Back on topic: RacingFlix has gone to Hell. JW forever. :P

I still cant believe that kid faked his death. What a tard, he seriously wanted attention that bad. That site used to be badass, id go on all day long. Then....civil war basically happended amongst the members.

i was also a member at racingflix as well, but once jabba showed me the light...i never looked back. JW forever!

I've heard about JW at racingflix. If it wasn't that site I probably wouldn't know JW, or I would have done it long time after.

I was posting and checking RF regulary before JW opened its doors, after that I walked into this place and from that day on it was my internet home...... :D

I dont hold a grudge against RF for anything its a site with alot of vids if you pay,(I dont consider it a site with vids for free cuz the speeds are so slow.....)

The only reason I stayed at RF was because there was some good people there,(I didnt download a single vid from there),and the good people was in the forums not in the vids, this is why I also moved to JW because of the people..... :D

RF is the reason all of us meet and have this thread in this place so rightfully called jabbas world.......dont say RF is crap RF is where it all started.....the craddle of life if you will.....lol.....how poetic I am.....

But yeah he is right... I would not be here if it was not for RF.. I meet two great guys from RF who then kept anoying me to join JW... But guess what, I'm glad they did.. (It was Brembo and Gis by the way. :D Thanks guys.)
