Ok, now that the multimedia gallery is up and running smooth I'm ready to write this minimini "how to", hoping it will be usefull and will reduce the need of moderation from us :D
First.. every time you access the galleries you have to log in again (same username and pass as you use here, you don't need to register again there)
The Gallery have basically two sections: the "Members Gallery" is just a database, where you can see all the pics posted by a single member.
The bottom part is where you can see where the pics are actually posted: own car, dream cars and so on.
When you upload a pic, if you don't specify anything, the pic will just be in the "members gallery". To put it in one of the section, you have to specify it when uploading.
Obviously, in "own cars" you have to post pics of your car, a past car and so on.. not cars you love or cars owned by others and so on..
If you feel the need for more section you can ask..
Then, some of you had problems in deleting pics, but now the problem is solved, you can delete your own pics.
Another note: so far the "approval" system is not active, but please, don't spam with useless pics.. the multimedia gallery is meant for cars and car pics.. not for funny pics, planes or landscapes :D
Basically that's all.. if you want a pic to appear in one of the bottom galleries you have to specify it :) if not, the pic will just be in your own portfolio.
Ah, almost forgot.. if you want you pic to show full size at the full click, and not resized, you have to keep it smaller than 600 pixels, maybe 640 not sure...
Questions?
