It may be time to get the RSG gearbox with a modified 6th gear which redlines at 238 mph instead of 263 mph.
:shock: so he's saying the stock Z06 gearbox would let him go 263mph if he had enough road? holy shit, i knew that 6th gear was long, but wow.
really incredible what people can do with Vettes, i'm seriously considering getting a Z06 (probly the C5 one, since i love pop-ups) as my first sportscar once i'm making some nice Chemical Engineering money 8)

Just make sure your suspension and drivetrain bits are in top order. Can you imagine popping a driveshaft at 200 mph?
