I hate all this bling stuff, but you have to give them credit, thats a pretty cool idea. The only thing is that initially it will be cool, but then everyone will have them and it wont be special anymore.

I wonder how the wheels will stand up over time to getting wet, dirty, etc. Any idea how much this stuff is gonna cost?

My thoughts exactly :)

I'm guessing the wheels won't last longer than the fad. Cost I'm sure more than 1/2 the cost of a civic

hahaha yeah, but then again, ricers are used to putting expensive items on cheap cars, so its nothing new!

I think they'll mostly be purchased by show cars that sit plugged into an AC outlet at car shows....

Bling = Anything they can do to get attention

Yeah, thats pretty much it. What do they think they are proving? Anyone actually know a ricer who has attracted a member of their opposite sex because of their car? Most people just laugh at them

You get 5 and 7 series BMW's with that bling stuff on it?? Really? I have only seen cheaper cars adorned with this s**t. I would have thought anyone with enough money to buy a high end BMW would stay away from this stuff. You got any pics?

ROTFLMFAO!!!!!!!! Just because you have money doesn't mean you have brains

i need to start taking my camera to work more often. you guys wouldn't belive some of the shit i see.

at least once a month there is a mercedes that comes in with aftermarket rims that comes in with someokind of lug bolt issue (most of the time they are too ong and destroy the hub and bearing, just had one that broke 4 of 5 bolts off in the hub)

i just worked on the 540iS of the BIGGEST tool i have ever met. he took the clutch damper cylinder off the car so now the clutch pedal is soft as hell and allows the clutch to hammer against the flywheel (harder application but it's going to decimate that clutch disc a hell of a lot quicker) don't know what he did but i can't tell when i've pulled the shifter out of first and whether or not it is neutral or second.

he bought 1 (yes ONE) carbon fiber cold air intake tube from the M5 kit and set up it up to lead to the conical K&N air filter attatched to the HFM. so imagine a tube leading to an airfilter without actually being attatched to the filter.

now for the wheels....he had three 17in sport rims and an 18in thin spoke rim (can't think of which BMW they actually go on)

its enough to make me wonder if sometimes i'm working on glorified civics

not too many porches around here. there are a few, but the owners of those know better than to mess them up
