View Full Version : *** NEW FEATURES ON JABBAS WORLD ***

You will soon be able to upload your own pictures and videos into your profile...I can only allow about 10MB of space for each person that is currently in the downloading group (or that has been a regular here for a while)
ok then what ???
Well there will be a random picture pulled from everyones profile that is then displayed on the front page everytime it is refreshed...as well as having your own private picture gallery....
Then we will be running a poll for the best car picture of the month...that will then be displayed for the whole month (with a credit to the person whos picture it is) where the current orange lambo and and bimmer are..on the front page.....
Please also update your profiles to include gender (sex) and date of birth...
Many of the other new features will become apparent when you start to use them...such as spell check on your posts....
Also the banner will be getting changed to fit in with the new colours as soon as I can speak with demon (JW graphic artist)
Not really a surprise for me, but it's simply great anyway!! :) especially for all the members not having their own site :D

Well we will have to see how it goes...and will be for only the most responsible people here...that arnt going to go around the whole internet posting links...of course if they do then they will be kicked out of the downloading group as well...so no more videos for them.....

One question for anyone, I have been a premium meber at RF for a while now, I get automatically charged when my subscritpion runs out, so... how can I stop this? Who do I have to e-mail to have them stop charging me? I dont need to be premium member from there anymore, I live my world at jabbasworld.com (jabbasworld motto/theme lol!)

You can just stop it through Paypal :) -> find the transaction in your history, click "details", the on top of the page you see something like Subscription Payment Sent In reference to ... -> now click that number and you'll be in the subscription page and on the bottom yuo can cancel it :)

Well RF has a videos database that we can never compete with...so we have to think of other new ideas...
According to one person yesterday on RF....Jabbasworld was "Messy" , "Forums Only" and nothing for the "Common Man"...also that I should try and be "Kinder Towards Members"....

i couldnt beleive this when i logged on,jabbasworld IMO (screw the guys who dissed it on RF) was an awesome place to begin with,jabba you have taken it to a whole other level for the JW family to keep coming to and having fun

I was going to ask why you changed the site format, but I don't think it's even a question anymore. I'd love to have a pics folder on here...the only question I have is: Do the pictures have to be of a certain file-size to be workable??

I already like the new site a lot. I don't think I'll make much use of the picture stuff but the 10MB of space will come in very handy with the WRC videos I put up. Thanks to you Jabba, my spae went from 25MB to 35MB!
LOL, thanks for all the great new features, it makes this place much better than the rest.
Like I said on RF.com, if you think it's messy, you don't come here often enough.

Sorry O-Ace but Jabba`s World rocks! I cannot remember the last time i visited rf....all the best Jabba with the new features and always improving site- its still my fave! :mrgreen:

I love it. What a HUGE surprise, not even a single word telling us there will be a new page coming. :D
The banner looks really nice, but it doesn't match the background well in my opinion. Overall, it is badass!

Oh I see...that's cool, where did you find that guy from? it's truly an awesome job though! it's taking me a bit to get used to because i'm slow and with a hangover, but I realise JW has much more potential now, specially the picture thing is awesome..

One thing i do like about this is the updates down the side. It makes it esay to see what has been responed to. I like it although it may make it look like spamming because all you post will come up on the side.
