Doesn't the M have dual exhaust? I don't think thats an M. My guess is he made a left turn a little too fast and slid sideways into the wall because the front of the car looks fine.

It's a 1.9 with the M side grills I think. They are two screws to undo and do up again to replace the parts. i.e. it is a riced BMW!! Shame to see it wrecked though

the 2.8's dont aways have badges on them. i don't think the 1.9 is strng enough to get the ass end as squirrley as it needed to be to do that damage. the M44 is a pi of an engine :P
