His Highness Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan was a father to everybody in the UAE.. And was a great leader.. He was responsible for the formation of the 7 emirates in 1971... A person who cares and listen to his people.. He was responsible for what is UAE today.. He is responsible for the recognition the UAE have gotten...

It's a very sad day for the UAE .. 3/nov/2004 will go down in history as a day when a great man, a great leader have passed away..

God bless his soul.....

Man ive always respected and loved the UAE, and the reason for that just died. RIP. we need more men like him.

Very Sad to hear, my father who has alot of clients over there (he helps designs heating and cooling for large buildings like the marina prodject in Dubai)
called me today with the news, he said that he has been very sick the last couple of months and last time he went they stopped putting up new pictures of him around the city as they did before, very sad

Thanks a lot guys ..

He had a kedney transplant back in 2000 and from that time he was sick but we did see him from time to time.. almost a year ago he did not show up much on T.V or newspaper.

Our Natinal day of the UAE is on the 2nd of December and the leader died just 1 month before 2nd of November.. And they said that the flags will be lowered for 40 days.. So my guess no Natinal day this year..
