I think the Uno is a stripped down version and them makes the really light Uno even lighter. A nice little bomb that car is!

Of course that the car must be a tunned Fiat Uno Turbo...anyway...during its sales the car was the alternative of the Renault 5 Gt Turbo, and accelerating it was almost as fast as the renault 5..so it was a truly fast car; in addition, later on Fiat launched a Fiat Punto GT based in the same 1.4 engine (the first Fiat Uno Turbo had a 1.3 engine) developing 136 bhp and the car was as fast as the Clio Williams;

I have had respect for the uno ever since my mate got one, there faster than you exspect. Also on my recent holiday to Zakynthos in greece, There was a nice uno turbo i.e, which sounded quite mean.

Indeed it was and still is a fast car, but I would rather take the Clio because in case you would crash with the Uno, very likely it would be the last time...

Well the mate I was talkin about did crash, His uno died but luckily he did'nt. He's scared all over as a result, a big chunk of flesh was ripped from his arm, but a skin graft covered the hole :wink:

I really don't think it has to be very tuned. Stock original GTi vs. Golf IV GTi. The original wins lacking 80 hp. The older cars weigh nothing such as the Uno, so you don't need much tuning.

but clio is not fat car, uno has 120 hp in serie,this must be tuned, but not bad for that old car
