how do angle the text direction in Photoshop 6? i'd like to do something with it other than have it go left to right.

i haven't used PS since high school so i'm pretty rusty.

which version was out in 2000? was it 4 or 5? which ever one it was, that was the one i was using..and i sucked at it then too :?

thanks for the advice in advance :D

Is this what you meant?

If so, when you click on the text tool there will be an option on the top panel to distort the text in many different ways.

select text tool and drag a square instead of clicking where you want to type

after you finish typing what you want, right click inside the square where your text is and there is a WRAP text option. Click that and you will get MANY options for editing!

minacious- which version are you using? that doesn't look like 6  but yes that is what i meant.

thanks guys, that helps a bunch. i'll let ya know how it goes  this is starting to come back to me a bit. i guess it's easier to learn since i'm doing it on my own time instead of trying to create timed projects in art class :D

LOL!
Yeah, what DeMoN said too. It takes you to the same place. :D

Version = PS CS (basically PS 8 )

i'll fiddle with it tomorrow :D

if all goes well, you will see the results come Christmas time ::puts on Santa hat::

oh, 'nother question for you, it is possible to make 3d letters too right? (like on those screen savers with the rotating phrases that bounce off the edges of the screen)

thanks again :D
