yep, it was exactly made for economy and taking the kids to soccer practice. its made for towing heavy shit with ease...
still ugly, but its got a purpose. can your car tow 12,000lbs?
i'm not saying theres much need for the vehicle to most people, but in construction this could be useful.

IVe seen vehicles identical to this towing things.. Not to mention the 4 wheeler in the back doesnt denote suv.



Talk to me when a soccer mom buys it to be an urban cow boy.. till then its reasonable as a good way for a business to tow something in between the full size truck and mac truck weights.

I thought the ford excursion was huge... but this is ridiculous. I don't believe a lot of buyers of that monster will really tow something besides a couple of bikes.

Maybe in your world of tight areas there isnt a reason to tow 12000 pounds.. but there are quite a number of legitamate reasons to tow 12000 pounds.. hell there are reasons to tow alot more then that.. MY father tows 80,000 pounds for work. We are utterly dependent here on over road travel.. something like 75 percent of our goods are transported by truck.

Theres no reason for joe schmoe.. and they wont be.. but there is a reason for businesses.. Boats.. prefab houses.. companies that work out of trailers... landscaping.. construction.. ect.

The person above is correct.. due to the weight this thing requires a commercial drivers license(admitedly I didnt even think about that).. it isnt a suv.. it isnt what your normal person would drive.. a cdl requires strict training. It also costs more to insure.

nope, the murano is small, meybe you're thinking in the titan pick-up, but it's a few inches bigger than the new f-150/f-250/lobo. And the excursion is...I don't remember exactly, but 3-4 inches longer than these pick-ups.

but the question is: would you, your dad, boss, etc buy one of those things? instead of another truck?

As opposed to the part where it admits its cdl legal in only a hand ful of states.. and then only unloaded.

ITs called a marketing tag.. its a commercial vehicle.. its marketed at comericial buyers.. International doesnt sell recreational vehicles.. Look at the rest of there product line if you dont believe me.. Hell look at there name. ITd be like arguing a tanker truck is to big.. sorry but things like these have uses in commercial world. Id be suprised if they even sell to anything but businesses.. You certainly wont be finding a dealership anywhere.

i love my country, but i have no problem with laughing at canada if they do something stupid. y couldnt u guys take as 'ya, international is stupid' and that'd be it. i just added the american, cuz u dont see any other countries making 18 wheelers into pickups/suvs. i'm done. if u cant just accept that the idea of this 'pickup' is ludacrous, u're just being irrational

No i dont see it as ludicrous in a business environment.. sorry.. I can show you 1000s of legitamate uses for a company.. which is the purpose it was built for.. They dont even sell to individuals.. when was the last time you saw a show room for a semi? Come on.. be realistic.

Maybe youve never had to work a tough day in your life.. but the type of work that requires these vehicles is out there.. It isnt the norm.. but that doesnt mean it doesnt have a need. This is not a mainstream vehicle.. Ask your average american about a marque international and youd get a vacant stare.

I'm gonna have to jump in here and back up graywolf.

My family owns a ranch and we could use one of these to tow our 40 ft. cattle trailer when its full of cattle. However we get by with at F350 fine so we don't NEED to get ona these. However there are plenty of other ranches around ours that are much more profitable and require this kind of equipment.

No soccer mom would ever buy ona these even if they could, which they can't cause of the liscensing issues pointed out before. This truck is designed and marketed towards commercial use and heavy towing.
