Suspension question...

sup guys, i finaly decided to raise my slammed integra, and it sucks cause the handling is not as responsive as before, but i just wanna ask:
if having the front end of the car higher than the back have negative effects at all? I just kept the same hight in the back which is 6 thread on the coilovers and 10 thread on the front? aight ope i worded it correctly..... waha..

Wouldnt that be dangerous at high speeds from an aero standpoint - it might make your front end light

it's an integra, it won't get fast enough with a reverse rake like that. his rear suspension is working harder than it should because all the sprung weight has shifted to the back.

That depends on the effect on the roll center and how it relates to that of the rear roll center..

Yeah it really does depend on the rest of your suspension set up. But in general FWD cars should be slightly lower in the front than the back if you want a proper handling car. Is there anyway you can get it equaled out? :|

all he has to do is raise the rear another 4 threads, or lower the front 4 threads...

but with coilovers, it's better to go up. it'll be more comfortable that way.

it sure is, damn i almost lost it going downhill at a right curve doing about 90. it just swerved to the right when i let go of the accelerator, then i pulled it to the left and then to the right again until i got control. i was scared as helll :shock: :shock:

umm if u were going down hill, i'm pretty sure the movement in the CG would have canceled out teh aero effect of raising the front a little

good point, going downhill probably just made the backend lighten up and so you had alot less tracktion, btw wtf you doing going 90 downhill?
