well actually it still is under lockdown right now at 1:49pm (pacific time)

I wasn't actually at school while this happened because it was my lunch block and i went home, but my friends are all stuck in the gym. So far there are three rumors that i've heard as to what happened, there was a bomb threat, someone shot themselves, or a teacher got threatened by a student with a gun. I just hope all of my friends will get out of there real soon

well, my friends just got out as of 3:11pm pacific time, and all they got was a letter telling them that there was an "incident" and that more information will be released tomorrow morning during school.

OK not to downplay this or anything but if it was a Bomb Threat why the fuck would they keep everyone in there?

I'm glad your friends got out safely.

It's sad that situations like this are becoming all to common in the world today :| There are some stupid extremist fuck-ups out there

lol, fair point. If i had the slightest incling that there was a bomb in the close vicinity, i would take my initiative, and do one as fast as my wee little legs could carry me (in other words for those who dont understand ild northern speak, 'fuck-off sharpish')

well no one knew exactley what it was and the principal told all students and staff members to go to the gym.

one thing that always blew my mind was the fact that everyone got herded into the f'cking gym in the event of a bomb threat.

lets look at this:

if everyone knows that the entire population of the school is going to get allocated to the gym in case of a bomb scare, and students are generally the ones that pull these attacks off, isn't the administration just saying "ok, you make the call and tell us the bomb is in the school, we'll round everyone up and stick them in the same place so you can get us all at once."?

my school did the same shit after columbine, my friends and i were smart and always left to go to jack in the box during the drills. by the time we got back with our Ultimate Bacon Cheesburgers, everyone was back in class

but on a serious note, i'm glad it all added up to nothing and your friends are alright, vexor. the annoying little shits that caused it should be hung out to dry.

After the lockdown was lifted, some students said they heard police were investigating an alleged threat made by an expelled grade nine student against a vice-principal. Authorities have not confirmed whether that was the reason for the police presence.

- Global TV

those dam niners, almost everyone that i know in the school hates the grade 9 kids.

i've had a few bomb threats in my time,

thought it could be in lockdown because george bush raised the "terror warning"

That's scary. We also had a bomb threat so like half the students didn't come to the school the next day.

what ever came of this vexor? did they ever explain what happened or did they act like you were too young to handle the situation and play it down completely?

^^^ well they said on the news that they arrested a 14 year old who was new to the area and new to the school and he appeared in court the next day, but I'm not entirely sure as to what he did to cause all of this "chaos"
