Nice pics!!!! :D sad to see that ugly fuck of the Beetle RSI made it to US! :D
thanks guys. TT what is the hp/msrp on it? looks like it has porsche turbo 13" brakes which made me smile.
i think the 10 hour drive was worth it
The RSI was like £55k ~ $90k in England when it was released ... a bit expensive IMO, even with Porsche brakes.
Man that dealership is impressive, so many nice angle on the cars and a lot of space between them... your photography skills are immense 8)

It has the 3.2 V6 pushing out around 220 hp here in Europe. I think it could even be fun to drive and for sure more exclusive than a Golf R32... but I think they sold like 2 in the whole world so far :D

that is an ASSLOAD of money for only 220 horsepower. but im sure it has tuning potential.

yeah. fortunately & unfortunately the 3 supercars were inside so the outside weather didn't affect them
and i can't really choose which days i go, i only have the weekends off, and the dealerships are only open 2 of those 3 days, i looked at the weather for fri & sat and it was basically the same

hey, I personally like the look of the Beetle RSi...it's very unique, even though it's based on a Beetle. I read a review about it somewhere, and it does seem like a very potent car with quite a bit of potential. It's far lighter than the stock Beetle and has an amazing suspension/chassis setup...it's more of a handler than a high-speed performer.

well, they've actually been around for years if not decades, they just moved so that was their current inventory from the old location
a bit late to start selling Ferrari's isnt it?
you mean in the season? hey, its the best time to buy  low prices, especially drop tops im sure

It's far heavier than a normal new Beetle without extra's. It weights something about 200 - 300 kg more than a Beetle 1.6 or 1.8T. Or at least it is so for the European verions. Of course the racing verions of the Beetle RSi weight less, but the one shown on the picture is a road version.

Actually his pics are perfect IMO. No idea if it's just a steady hand of a tripod :D.. and basically a very sunny day is not ideal to take pics.. cloudy ones are better IMO, less useless reflections and so on :D And anyway with a tripod there is always enough light :D

But that's the thing. Some of the pics are underexposed. They're still nice, but a bit underexposed.

I did not take a tripod with me.
i do not claim to be a professional photographer, if i did i'd own a $5,000 camera and i'd take a tripod every time
just trying to give you some decent pics of cars located at a dealership that is 330 miles from my house.
And they are gorgeous don't worry ;) the tripod isn't really needed afterall :P but for a dealership trip I would take it with me just in case :P

thanks, im not worried
i've had a few situations where i actually needed a tripod to take pics (didnt want to use flash) in the very middle of a poorly lit showroom but i couldn't because i didn't bring a tripod
otherwise i dont need a tripod because i have a very steady hand, ive learned to hold the heavy f828 pretty good
Actually I think it is easier to have steady hands with a nice and heavy camera than with those small feather weight ones :D ..

You took it the wrong way! I really appreciate your effort and the pics are dam nice. They're almost professional quality! If you don't want me to ever criticize them again, just say so. And you have steady hands indeed...if those were taken without a tripod and flash in those lighting conditions! 8)

haha thanks, i didn't mean to over-react
i'm more than open to criticism
i think i chose the correct white balance, i remember selecting it so that it matched what my eyes were telling me. it must have been yellowish in the showroom, but i had a friend apply a white filter in photoshop and the pics look so much better. oh well, that's what i get for posting pics before i edit them haha
