Did anyone notice tiff say "Stig that in your pipe and smoke it!" ?

Does anyone think this is a go at the stig not having driven the slr already?

DanV6 certainly did :P ... Stig did drive it anyway it set a top gear lap time :wink:

but the stig has driven the SLR, it did it's lap in 1:20.9 and is comin 2nd for now, behind the Carrera GT

i remember when one of Jeremy's guests was talkin bout puttin the car in 5th gear and Jeremy says 'I prefer Top Gear myself.....just a little dig at the competition.'

hehehehe, whole audience jus started laughing

i think he was also refering to the "sensable" driving from top gear..

I thought I heard that. I was trying to decide if he did indeed said Stig or if it was just stick. I guess if you guys heard it too, then he did say Stig.

Clarkson also mentioned moving from 5th gear into Top Gear in another review, think it may have been Zonda vs Murcielago. No great surprise there is rivalry though, lol.

Clarkson also mentioned moving from 5th gear into Top Gear in another review, think it may have been Zonda vs Murcielago. No great surprise there is rivalry though, lol.

Yeah I remember that.. He even smiles with an evil look..lol..

That was hell funny, Tiff is a pretty sarcastic dude sometimes! :D
Liked the bit where he was in the SLR factory checking out the interior and just started flipping the air brake and saying "what are these round things then?". Also liked the bit were he showed the letter from the factory saying that the TC had to be on at all times and then switches it straight off! 8) sod that crap matey!
He has a genuine passion for cars and driving and lets face it, where else are you going to see an SLR drifted like that?

Yeah did notice that, quite amusing. Did anyone notice what a complete bitch that car was to drive, looked like a bit of a handfull for a front engine gt car. Really dislike those cars for some reason. Sounds pretty awesome though!

i remember this one too. jc was driving the zonda and he said, "now, i'm moving out of fifth gear and into top gear." :lOl: that was funny.
