i don't noe, boston got great pitchers, but the cards' line up is incredible.

whoever win, this will be one GREAT series.

Card's lineup IS incredible...St. Louis is a supremely balanced team...great infield, and outfield and a bullpen which can't be argued with. Mind you, I'm not suggesting that the Sox don't have a great lineup as well. My guess is that the Cards will take it though...regular season record suggests that much and more.

My great uncle did. He got an autographed ball from the man himself :-D (then my dad wanted to go play catch and my great grandma gave it to him not realizing what it was)....long story short, said ball now has a bunch of scuffs and scrapes, but still clearly says, "To Warren, Best Wishes, Babe Ruth"

That sounds suspiciously similar to the storyline of the "The Sandlot".

Here we go guys, Game 1 is about to begin and either way you look at it, 4 games have to be played.

Both teams have fought tooth and nail to make it here, but i think Boston feel like they have more at stake since they fought back from 0-3 to make history and made history to get here and it would be a waste for them not to emerge victorious from this battle.

St. Louis will not just roll over though. They have some insane bats and great pitching that is perfectly capable of getting the much needed 3rd out in a jam.

Boston has a destructive line up with bats like David Ortiz who launched the winning hits in 3 games against the Yanks. They hold nothing back with their baserunning, a little kamikaze at times, but not something to laugh about.

This is going to be a hell of a World Series!!!!!!!

GO BOSTON!!!!

BTW I fortell that the cops are gonna start busting heads and brutalizing peope in an attempt to "demonstrate special crowd control techniques".

They already dispersed some people with "a substance that is not tear gas and the police cannot/will not disclose what it was" as they are now just pushing the crowd some where.

Looks like the cops are gonna try so hard to not hurt anyone they may just end up hurting everyone.. ;)

they've already said that some of the cops who were using the "plastic balls" were not trained to use them.

other than that it was just the typical downplay.

Police Commissioner Kathleen M. O'Toole announced the investigation Tuesday as allegations arose that that some of the officers who fired the guns were not trained in their use

Well - let's see - as a Republican I would at least have a chance at redemption considering it's only a political affiliation... being Canadian on the other hand...
