Nice pics....but I really doubt that vortex generator makes much difference on drag, it sure does make difference in looks tho (it makes it uglier)

The MR looks good and it got few tricks the normal 8 don't have..like the cooling brake thing..

What a great car...the point is just...the car is optimised as much as each evolution from the evo 5 means a little improvement, unlike every improvement from lancer evo I to Evo V

Its curious though, that Mitsubishi hasnt launched a mitsu lancer evo yet with some ordinary grN sequential gearbox in order to get a homologated mitsu evo grN with that sequential gearbox....

A great car... but what's the difference between the MR and the FQ versions???
maybe the difference is the little vortex generator and the handling of the MR is much more better than the FQ and the ordinary EVO (according to the source)....

sorry...i meant that...once the sequential gearbox is very effective for a rallying car in order to gain some little seconds in a kilometer comparing with a manual gearbox.....it sounds strange for me that mitsubishi or subaru dont have launched yet a sequential gearbox option for its rallying road models in order to homologate the mitsu and the subaru with sequential versions for grN.......

oh I see. Thats a good idea! but if i'm not wrong there was an EVO called the EVO 7 GTA, and it's automatic but I don't know if its sequential automatic or not... :roll:

i think the vortex generater gives to car a more savage look. i do not care the real effect but the visual benefit is great 8)
