Two week holiday to the UK may help. I wouldn't use Oasis or Blur as a template though, lol. Maybe watch a few Bond films?

lol, thats the most pathetic thing i have ever heard man. sorry, but if your going to try and change your self for chicks thats sad. and then to make things worse your trying to change your accent, oh man i wish i could be there to see all the chick die in laughter at you making a fool of your self.

Not only that, any English people within earshot will think you are at best a dumbfuck and at worst think you are taking the piss and twat you one. No matter how well you think you are doing the accent, it will sound false to a native

So lets say after you got a girls attention with your "accent", what you gonno do then, apperances won't help you much if you want a decent girl, that is.

Just relax yourself and let the mood flow by itself.

Maybe I watched too much tv..... don't know.

Whe I was in the states, girls loved it....

The first time I was in the states, people didn't figure me out for 2 weeks. They tought I was born and raised in the states....
I needed a few days to got in to it, but from then on it was smooth sailing...

From my expirience american girls love european guys.

What kind of accent do the ladies dig? Because there is a vast difference. Quite a posh one? Sort of, err, Hugh grant style :?

You need to take a holiday, goto London for a week. Then visit the Square Pig (a pub) in Holborne and after that you will know and speak 'posh' 8)

That's the advantage of a neutral South African English speaking accent... it sounds about as posh as Hugh does - from day one I had the "ooooh... I love your accent" and "wow - I could just listen to you all day..." ;)....

Too which I would normally followup a few minutes into the convo with a wink and a "I'd much rather we just fuck... " ;) --- and they would laugh it off and take it in their stride... because it was delivered with impeccable annunciation... ;) :P  -- try that line with a drawl and see what happens.. ;)

I agree with stracing.....the Aussie accent is the best for sure, the American girls must love it. The Canadian girls didn't mind it too much when I was there. :D

If you really want to learn british accent, try to find the cassette "Acting With An Accent - Standard British". The series is available with other accent as well, like Aussie, Irish and Scottish.

I used to have a bit of british accent but that didn't seem to work with girls... :(

Try this Aussie line mate(spelt like you say it)

"Hew ya goin luv, lookin sweet night, hew bout a root ya spunk?Got me ute out the back hon"

No offense to anyone, but the South African accent is one of the funniest when they are speaking english. Eg Tony Grieg(SA born English test cricketer) "I need a Grudge to pork my cor"
Also makes a wicked accent for a villian in any movie.

And I would not be Australian if I didn't take the piss out of Nuw Zelunders!

Watch out as some people will not find it funny and get pretty pissed off at you esp if you are doing it all the time!

Well - what do you expect from a non-English speaking South African... :)

Those of us that received a Queens English education actually do speak like posh Brits.. - toffy nosed with hot potatos and all that old chap.. ;)

English accents differ massively as you go around the country. Most people when they reffer to an enlish accent mean a London accent - be that posh, normal or cockney.

But as i said - if you go to the West Country, then the accent is totally different - someone from Bristol sounds completely differerent to someone from my hometown of Bradford. A liverpudlian accent is massively different from that of someone in Middle England.

It all depends were in England you mean when you say a British accent.

On a side note, i think your idea of getting a girl using it is total bollocks,a nd you are much more likely to be pointed and laughed at. 8)

I think you should try the Scottish accent, the best thing about it is that nobody would understand what your saying and wouldn't find out your IQ level.

Someone's been watching too much Sex in the City, lol.

Ask any girl, any real girl. It doesnt matter if your british or austrailian, ugly is ugly!
I live my life one nationality at a time. For those 300 sylables or less, Im free...

Listen up its like this.... if you win, you get my car, clean and clear, but if I win, I get your money and your goofy accent.... to some people thats more important....

*this F&F ricer moment has been brought to you buy Adamk24, Please feel free to flame that stupid n00b at any time, thank you  *
