dont really see that big of a difference except the front chin spoiler and the rear bumper. the rest of the car looks the same. but hey if they increase the power then who cares. :wink:

The front definatelly resembles the Evo VII more than the Evo VIII. Nice bumber.

It's true that it resembles to the EVO IV.

I just want one thing, that the Mitsubishi company can sell the Evolution version of the Lancer here in Canada. It's ridiculous, we dont have this model. :roll: The EVO doesn't meet Canada transport regulation. It's about the federal regulations for crash testing. The front of the car is too expensive to repair (Front-mount Intercooler and Xenon headlamps etc...) for a crash below a given speed, I think it's below 8 mph. It's the same reason why the Audi S4 (model B5) and the Subaru Impreza STI, dont have xenon headlamps in Canada. This is idiotic. :roll:

somewhere i read that the evo9 would be like the new lancer, (rounded font lights and diferent back end) with a similar mods just like the 8 :cry:

There's a concept picture of the next gen Evolution X in this month's Automobile mag (IIRC). It looks different from the current styles.

I saw it while browsing though the mags when i went grocery shopping last night.

Does anyone have that mag and a scanner?

well if you look at previous evo's many of them look almost identical to the predicessor, but every few years (2-3) they have a greater change

arse end looks good but the front is no big deal as it is far to close to the evo 8 to make it stand out so if it is the new 9 then i think they need to rethink the front end but have to agree don't think it is, to close to old evo.

Thats not an Evo IX, i've seen pics of the Evo IX and it has larger headlights that have more curve to them. There's a lot more curves compared to the VIII throughout the whole body.
