Sorry got school  , the car is at Miller Motors in connecticut, so you can go check it out if you want.
RC45- you might know somethings about tracking cars. If the inside of the tires are scuffed up are those any signs that the car has been tracked?

Also the service guy said that he might think that the car has been tracked b/c the inside of the front and rear tires have scuff marks on them, any one have something to say on that :?:

So the wheels and tyres are scuffed? If so, it looks like the car was rolled through some kind of "track" - such as at one of those automated car-washes.

Or perhaps a lowbed truck with narrow "tracks"....

I have seen a couple cars with wide rear wheels that have suffered the "car wash track" scratches... some of the local tracks are only 11 inches wide - with inside guides that are a too high.

The insides of the tyres could be scuffed if you drove the car enthusiastically with under inflated tyres... but you would be hard pressed to scratch the wheels while driving... but then again the wheels may have been taken off and allowed to slide around some storage area container.

I would think on a car such as that it would be easy to find out, especially an enzo.
WHat I mean is I would think they watchover them very carefully.
As for the wheels, that to me indicates some track drving, maybe some sliding? However it could also be from a tow, where they strap the car down, it hits the inside of the tires

Just the tires, not the rims.

geez. your dad has a vanquish too? what color?

if you don't mind me asking:
how many miles and what did he pay for the enzo?
what is your father's occupation?
what's the repair bill on this bad boy?

you can PM me the info if you'd like.

thanks.

When you buy an ordinary car and have some problems, you don't really mind BUT when it's a 675 000 € car it's different; as SFDMALEX said, that's unacceptable :?

SFDMALEX

Indeed. I dont care if its water marks. Its unacceptable, I'd polish that baby after each drive.

There's a topic in the What do you drive section

All the questions were asked there... not all of them were answered, for obvious reasons

as for the tire wear, tell him the psi got a little low and you were riding around on that, or that when psi was low you drove it a little spiritedly on a twisty country road. it'll scuff the outside of tires in no time.
take it easy, Micah
p.s. you are a lucky guy
