I read that they prefer starting a new team from scratch rather than buying an existing one because everybody would remember the old one ... They could move to Woking, in the previous McLaren buildings/factory .

I smell another entry for www.f1rejects.com . I know F1 needs new teams but I'm not confvinced that Midland and Dubai are going to be able to supply the level of competition that F1 requires. I hope my instinct is wrong.

hmmm..

sound intersting. this is definitely good for f1 now that the number of teams seem to be dwindling. bring it on.

they might not win in the first season but they will have no problems funding the team with the number of oil wells they have :D

We got rally driver and we got powerboats or what ever they are called drivers but not F1.. Not in few years that is... They have to think about opening driving school over here first then think about a driver hehehe..

But try to imagine me driving that.. 8) .. LoL.. I have to post a picture of the owners manual of the F1 car for everbody to belive me..  .

A picture of the booklet on operating the steering wheel controls will do, I'm sure. It's bigger than an owner's manual.

I'm glad new teams are entering F1. Maybe we'll see some real action in the future. :|

well anyrate, id rather the bottom and mid teams become more competative then have new teams that usually take 5yrs to come good.

End of day I dont care who is getting 21st position hahahaha

True, and true. But the difference might come down to the fact that dubai has money and lots of it. maybe they can "buy" their reliability, good driver, luck, and overall success. we'll just see how much they're willing to put forth to this new team. i'm def looking forward to it tho.

this team and the Russian/Canadian team will not be in the sport until 2006

^that's pretty important news - 06 eh? and i didn't even know there was a canadian/russian team entering either. i thought that 07 was when the rule changes come into effect though, which would mean the new teams would build their cars, and then have to completely redesign them for the next year - a gross waste of money, no?
