I dont think It matters what kind of BMW it is, I will always be a fan. But thanks a ton for supplying so many great pictures, it gave me a really great view of all the parts of the car. Even if it looks kinda funky, I still think its gunna be an awsome car. :D

It's the reborn of the 2002!!!

Hope to have enough money by then to buy one for myself... For the pics I have seen, the 2 series is BEEEEEAUTIFUL!

mmm.. and M1 would seem sweet... :) or they might have to name it something else to not have a name clash.. the rear reminds me a bit of an alfa hatch, but otherwise i hope it has a better reception than a BMW compact.. that totally sucked.

I finally saw it a few hours ago, not moving, it was in the dealership and it´s really nice. Only rear leg room is not too generous and the price IMO is too high. It was a 120i and it costs $34,800 and a 320i costs something like $37,000. Who knows if they´ll sell well.

this car looks fine with me, maybe the BMW wanna make a small car...from the series its clear that this is the smallest number...but I think they should make a more smaller car, like a city car and compete with A-class... :roll: thanks TT for the highress pics :wink:

I'm worried though that by having the 1 series BMW is "cheapening" the brand name. In my country they're phasing out the 316 and 318 in favor of the 116 and 118 while keeping the same price scheme. The new low end here will be the 320.

I've also heard rumors here that the E90 3 series will come out here in Febuary/March while the 1 series will be brought in during the holidays.

Great car. The only " :( " is of his 2.0 aspirated engine. 150 bhp seems to be few to some people, for the majority is ok but for those drivers who take fast in all the time or most of it, it´s few. A 2.0 liter turbo with 240 bhps would wear better. 8)

The back still looks a bit weird but it's a good looking car IMO.

I drove an 120i and it's excellent. In fact according to me the performance is at top level. But I think it would be better if there is a 3-door version since there is so little space in the back and practically this is a two-person car.

This car is awesome , looks much better than golf and A3. Cant wait for the I6 engine with 252hp or better up a M-version.
