Hotmail has also that stupid sign-in-every-30-days rule, or they'll terminate the account. That sucks! And yep, it is still 2mb for me.

Gmail sounds good although it's a shame it's invite only :( Checked my Hotmail again and still only 2mb Wonder how they are upgrading, by country, date of joining, alphabetically or some other way.
