I have to admit though I have being playing a hacked version of the 'BMW' demo edition.. only 2 cars (120d and 120i) but its great to drive full laps of the Nurburgring Nordschliefe (using the logitech driving force pro wheel - the one with 900° steering :D) 8)

Hey Dan, since u got that wheel, I got a question for ya.

I always have the urge to go out and just buy that wheel, but I don't know how's the build quality. Is it sturdy? (ie, able to take some abuse?)

the wheel seems pretty sturdy, but the pedals look a little cheap, I guess time will tell if they are or not, lucky for me I'll only be using them for GT4 anyway so I think they'll last, for sim racing on the pc I use BRD speed7 pedals :D

the way GT3 was set up and the hardcore programers that made the game. They would have let a kid make the game for it to suck. By the way most of the programers eat sleep and live at the building where they program. Saw a clip on G4tv (techTV) It can only get better.

By the way they take like sound 40,000 measurements from every car on avg. and like 10,000 sound bits. The only way to go is up.

That would be a very good idea. You can find cracked versions on emule. Just search for BMW Virtual Drive demo. Someone let me know if you can d/l off emule. I can't d/l very fast, but I may have some settings messed up.

Actually, there should be quite a difference in the steering system of GT4...at least when using the Driving Force Pro wheel controller. The difference is that this wheel features a full 900 degrees (2 1/2 full turns, lock-to-lock) of rotation...the first of it's kind, at least for console game systems. Check it out for yourself here, at Logitech's site (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/details/US/EN,CRID=97,contentid=7226,detail=2).

Only one SERIOUSLY MAJOR FUCKING BUMMER AND LETDOWN about GT4 is that there will NOT be an "ONLINE RACING" mode...even though Sony and Polyphony Digital have been hyping us all up for over a year, touting online mode as one of GT4's main features!!! Kinda like a sucker punch to the gut of all the hard-core GT fans who have been waiting and waiting for the game to finally be released.

Most of you probably knew this already, but for those who were unaware....yes, unfortunately it's true. Damn you, Sony!

yeah, no online mode, decided to feed our hunger before Christmas and now we have to buy a whole seperate game a few months or more later to play online. Although I have heard that a company in the UK has made it so you can hook the I-Link system from GranTurismo that is normally used to play friends on seperate TV's and hook it up to your computer so you can play online.
