Thanks pagani for this Mk3 turbo cover. Definitively this car is a rocket pocket.

But... this beater have too many horsepower for a fwd. It should invest on a 4motion system to put 580bhp on the road.

I thought the golf vr6 has all wheel drive or rear wheel drive not fwd.

^^^^^^^
It's true, this is what I wanted to say: Pocket Rocket.

I still doubt about AWD. What I know of the 4 MOTION is: When the car is driving straight ahead and there’s no difference in grip between the wheels, 90 percent of the propulsion power is sent to the front axle and ten percent to the rear. But, when a wheel spins occurs, the power is transmitted variably to all four wheels using electronic control. This means each wheel gets the appropriate amount of power for the road and grip conditions prevailing there. So, it’s a 50:50 split of the propulsion power between the front and rear wheels that we should see.

Some new video's

Very cool video's give a idea about the speed of the red devil(golf vr6) turbo.
Video 1 is a bit faster recorded than normal.
http://www.carpi.ch/Video/red_devil_04_15mb.wmv

And video 2 give much better idea of the speed on track.

^^ That 1st vid is sped right up on my media player!? If i put it on about 0.7-0.8 speed it looks nearer the true speed, but the sound is still sped up.

And all the incar stuff in the second vid is also clearly sped up. The outside flybys on the pit straight are believable, but the incar stuff is totall bollox.

LOL its no surprise they sped up the film with such shit camera position and narrow field of view in car, because it must have looked slow as fuck... shame they did it by such a large amount so it looks totally unrealistic
