Very Very sad indeed...life must have been very hard for him after his accident though...so maybe it was a welcome release for him in a way.

Im sure his life was hard but he was still doing so much with it. I dont think hed want to be remembered for the pain he was in but for the pain of others he tried to relieve.

i wouldnt doubt it, however, he seemed to want to be so strong in his paralysis, wishing so much to walk again. there was a very recent article released about him, his re-gaining of ability to move some parts of his leg... very sad indeed :(

Wow. When I was six I saw Superman for the first time on TV, and it was Reeve as Superman that I saw. I didn't know it then but it changed my life.
RIP Christopher, you helped us all believe.

i don't know why but it always seems like anyone who plays a role like that is always seen as immortal. so when they pass it's almost like a reality check. he didn't seem quite as invincible after his accident but the fact that he carried on so strongly afterwards made him seem that much more unbreakable.
i wish his family all the best, and i'm glad he is no longer suffereing.
RIP Superman
