We got hit by a 5.7 last week...about a min...very freaky...and yesterday another one, not sure what scale...I'm used to tremors though, they happen all the time here in the pacific coast of nicaragua...

We once had an earthquake here in the UK. The epicenter was in Birmingham i think. Although we live roughly 150miles from that my mum still felt it in the night - she said the wardrobes started shaking. Of course, as i sleep like a brick shit-house, i slept through the whole thing. I think it was about a 5 on the richter scale - not sure though - anyone with the info?

the epicenter's about 75km/47miles where i lived. come to think of it it it lasted about a minute but the aftershocks kept on jiggling my room.

A few years ago we had a small one in Hamilton. Across the lake in Toronto, people in the CN tower said they could feel the tower moving back and forth. That must have been pretty freaky.

LOL, i drove through that quake!! Was on a very long journey back from donnington to home after end of racing season celebrations, me mate pissed as a fart, me stone cold sober and on a mission to get home as quickly as possible, woke up the next day and saw on the news that i'd driven right through it without realising!! lol
Its strange to hear you other guys being so used to it! Would scare the shit out of me!
