I frequent a few car sites, this being one of them obviously, and most of the people think they know about cars b/c they read car magazines. In fact most of them don't even drive, they're all like 13. I do not have that much driving experience (about a year) and I'm learning bit by bit what the test drivers have been saying. So the question is do you drive on a daily, or near daily basis?

go to the what you drive ride section and check the car registry, I think you'll get your answer pretty quick as to how many of us drive.

I drive everyday, I have to just to get around in the city busses suck and light rail is a piece of crap. If I didnt drive everyday I'd probably go insane pretty quick.

Drove almost everday after I got my license at 17. Back then I drive almost whenever I had the chance (ie. go out get milk...get mail....get laid...) Now due to the high oil prices, age, traffic everywhere, I drive only when necessary.

I also drive pretty much everyday, and have done for the last 4yrs or so.
If I go into the city I usually take the ferry since its cheaper and less of a hassle, but for anything else I go by car. :D

To be honest i don't drive every day when i'm at uni as i try to walk everywhere i can, also like this morning i'm not always in a fit state to drive and am not stupid enough to do so  I've been driving since march 03, but i don't really feel i have to learn from "what test drivers say" to be honest i'd just rather enjoy driving :D

I drive everyday whenever possible, and love nothing more than pushing my car on a deserted national speed limit road  You do also have a valid point about our comments being based upon magazine reviews; as most of us do not have the means to test exotic cars we dream about, I think the most logical way way to form an opinion is to read the reviews from professionals who test drive them :D

I try to walk whenever possible, but I drive usually every other day during the week and one or both days of the weekend. If I can walk or ride with someone else I try to, no point in burning fuel & putting excess miles on my car if I don't have to.

I almost never drive, as I don't have a drivers licence, don't have a car, and my parents have a car I can't drive before I'm 21.. :(
But I love to drive :D

I started driving when i was 16 although here its not alowed to get the drive license until someone gets 18, anyway, i used to drive in parking lots, and other big and wide places where i didnt cause any danger....furthermore i do quite many kilometer a year since i was 18, and mostly between 1999 and 2001 due to professional reasons

Driving is cool, enough said. When I was last driving I loved it I would go anywhere by car no matter how near or far and as often as possible. This brought laziness to some extent but it was too good to drive

It won't be long until I get my 'new ' car, I can't wait!

I drive everyday - the 5 miles to work and back.

I go out for a drive for pleasure at the weekends but the car gets used mostly for commuting and as a shopping trolley...
